First, this was an outstanding video, very well done. I was initially excited when I heard Glover was attached to this project. When the teaser and trailer was released I was 100% on board. This show left me wanting so much more after the final episode and I’m praying for a season 2. The chemistry between Glover and Erskine was solid, very special. The cinematography was excellent. I thought that the guest stars were utilized well and did not take away from the focus of Glover and Erskine performances. I’m telling anyone and everyone to watch this show.

9:05 Aah man, nice catch! I knew there was something to Donald Glover’s character wearing white and Maya’s character wearing black. 😂

Mr and Mrs Smith and Beef are my obsession rn. Both are shows that can be renewed non stop and each season star a new set of actors, while exploring new relationships and emotions. What about a season of an older couple, an older Mr and Mrs Smith, that have been in the business for all their life. Possibilities are endless as the end goal is exploring the individuals, not the concept.

Speaking about completion [spoilers ahead] if they are both dead we were spoiled at the beginning where the other Mr. and Mrs. Smith were killed. If they are alive, then it's an overcoming of the beginning since they managed to survive the first big threat we were presented to.
I loved this show so much

Just so you know, the movie and the show are actually both adapted from a show from the 60’s!

Thanks for your comment! That's actually an interesting thought and I see what you mean. But I wouldn't say it's unethical - at least, not more unethical than ANY marketing of ANY product. If companies only sold things (in this case, media) to consumers with complete transparency, then there would be no room for mystery (especially such in mystery-focused projects, for a very on-the-nose example) or discovery. Advertising a film is a tricky business - you need to sell the idea of the project, the tonality of it and what's interesting about it, but not show too much as then that would push a lot of people away - both because they then obviously know what happens and also because they might not think whatever is being sold to them is right for them. So I wouldn't call it unethical, more clever advertising - such that stems from the very core of the industry, i.e. getting audiences to watch the product you've created through sales and marketing. Film/TV is ALSO a business after all.
