कभी कभी मैं सोचता हूँ कि देश जातीय, क्षेत्रीय,धर्मिक और महिला-पुरुष आदि भेदभाव से ग्रस्त है पर जब मै अनुभव सिन्हा की फिल्मों की सफलता देखता हूँ तो मै खुद को गलत पाता हूँ। क्योंकि बहुत से लोग इन भेदभाव से ऊपर उठ चुके है। ये साक्ष्य सिन्हा की फिल्मों की सफलता है।

I got goosebumps at @23:00 when Saurabh started talking about special qualities of JNVs (Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas). At such a young age, when all of us used to come from different caste, religion, background etc but lived in harmony and shared culture...where everyone used to eat and play together. I would never have been able to shed my caste/religion/color based prejudices had it not been for the unmatched and unparalleled diverse culture of JNVs. Forever indebted.

Perhaps a visit to Kashmir and talking to some people from different vocations may give one a better understanding of Kashmiris in general.They are genuinely troubled by successive governments.

They do. Last week I got a call from Upgrad customer support and the guy was a Kashmiri working in Gurgaon. There are people from Kashmir working and earning a living through honest means in big cities. We just don't know about them. Once on a train journey, I met a labourer from Kashmir who was going to Assam for construction work in the booming highway projects there. People are just working for a living. If you get money to have a decent life, you won't join some political party to make some elite person win votes. That's what was happening in 2010. The general culture of India was pro-progress, anti-politics. Now it is the opposite.

I can name all 7 NE sister states and i can say that Coz I know it for 23 years now. Thanks to our Geography teacher.
There is a simple story that helps:
“ARUN was throwing his birthday party. He called 3 of his friends - NAGA, MANI and MIZO. While the 3 were on their way to the party venue, they all TRIPped. They all fell into a Cloud (MEGH). All this happened coz they were all ASSes.”
So, 7 states in that order on the map of India going clockwise will be:

Assam in the middle of that NE circle

My wife is from south east Asia I know how my kids are facing racism in school & else where because of their looks, calling them Chinese by their school mates hurts me, even they are indian citizens, racism is embedded in our genes. Parenting is very important how we would teach our kids to coexist with people of other color, looks, race, caste & religion. After all we all are human.

I have been watching LT's various programs for about 4 years now; say,LT News, Duniyadari,Political Kisse, Netanagri & Kitabwala.As I come from Kashmir,I only watched Saurabh Ji's interview on The Kashmir Files.I didn't know he conducts programs on movies too. While I was searching for this week's Netanagri,I came across this interview on movie Anek with Anubhav Sinha Ji, Ayushman Ji and Andrea Ji.For a great nation like ours,we say proudly- अनेकता में एकता।I have been to North East also number of times. Any or every part of our country is exceptionally beautiful; so are people.Director like Anubhav Sinha can only think of weaving together food habits,languages, culture, interaction,dress,etc.Having been in Delhi for about 50 years now,I have been seeing students from Northeast studying in DU & its affiliate colleges.I have had the opportunity of working with colleagues from Northeast. Ayushman Ji, I have seen for the first time in Vicky Doner.

Its ironical, that one hand Anubhav Sinha talks of inclusivity and integration of the North East and on the other hand openly supports the forces that has neglected the North East for more than half a century. And I'm from the a part of North East that majority of India including the North East hasn't even heard of.

I'm from Meghalaya....Ayushman ji your movie is 👎🏻 and the reality, the whole country knows. Ask our people in northeast, how they behave with proples (non tribals from our prospective) of other states out here ? We react and call it racisms if anyone from other state call us chinky in their place...but what about us, when we treat people from other states as a "2nd Class" citizen in our own states ? In Arunachal, we call them hirang, in Meghalaya, we call them dkhar, in Manipur, we call them Mayang (these words are equally hurts them as Chinky hurts us)...does anyone of us rise voice against these racism done by our people ? No, never lol.
If anyone from northern, western or southern part of India, says anything bad against us, we will surely find 1000s of their people rising their voice against it in our support (just see your comment section for example) but does the same thing happens in northeast ? Oh ! Forget it as it never happens lol. Other states people are not even allowed to take their breath also without our permission lol in our states (job, business, fearless day to to day life is a secondary thing). We maintain the highest height of hypocrisy and time to time we are expert in playing victim card too. Need to change our mentality...live and let live, we all are Indians, one country, one family and most importantly...why this type of movie is coming when the rapid development of northeast has been started ? 🤔
