Jest to trzeci, ostatni z serii (Kormoran, Albatros, Mewa) okrętów typu Kormoran II, niszczycieli min projektu 258 - choć w czerwcu 2022 podpisano umowę na trzy kolejne okręty tego typu. 27 grudnia jednostka opuściła stocznię i przeszła do Portu Wojennego w Gdyni, obecnie czeka na uroczyste podniesienie bandery Polskiej Marynarki Wojennej. Pozdrowienia dla załogi!
2nd December 2022 | Enjoy watching a video of the entry of the future Kormoran II-class minehunter ORP 'Mewa' (603) into the port of Gdynia, probably during the return from her sea trials. It is the third and last in a series (Kormoran, Albatros, Mewa) of the Kormoran II class of minehunters (MCMV) of the project 258 for the Polish Navy - although in June 2022 a contract for three more ships of this type was signed. On December 27, the vessel left the shipyard and docked in the Naval Port in Gdynia, currently awaiting for the ceremonial raising of the flag of the Polish Navy.

Video may be awesome, but ship is certainly not. ☹️👎 They built minesweepers already before 1939, and this is by no means much more. The problem is, that the whole business is but waste of time. Thirty years is decidedly too much for ending up with patrol motor launch and a bunch of minehunters.👎

@@GMaski Bo to niszczyciel min. Bardzo potrzebny okręt, żeby zabezpieczyć nasze szlaki handlowe na Bałtyku.
