      @@issamdajani1603 I think "individual" means that the loop doesn't come together at any point on the inside; in other words, no vertices are repeated except the first and last. I believe the applicable term is "directed cycle":

      it's because when forming a loop you cannot repeat any node as in go through the same node more than once and as you can see in your case you have repeated the x and y nodes
