Teen Summit 2024- Understanding and Advocating for Teens

While the teen years have always been a period of change and boundary-testing, teens and their libraries face unique challenges post-pandemic. In this session we will explore adolescent developmental stages, effective responses to boundary-testing behaviors, and strategies to support and engage teens. We'll also share our own experiences and approaches for a positive library environment with each other as a group.
Christi Farrar is a Consultant for the Massachusetts Library System and a trainer for the IMLS/YALSA Transforming Teen Services project.
