When Dana Holgorsen said that he thought there was a player on the sidelines that ought to be playing, the first player I thought of was Malachi. In spite of all the optimism around the receiver room with Banks and Neyor, it was difficult for me to see an upgrade from Coleman and Lloyd last year. Best to you, Malachi 👊🏼
Some of their redshirt decisions this year have been bad. Malachi should have played more and so should have Riley Van Poppel. Don't worry about 3 years from now. It's called player mismanagement. I guarantee he could have played - they just refused to play him even one snap over the seniors Banks and Neyor, who both suck at everything besides catching a perfect pass. Same thing with Van Poppel. Could have contributed meaningful minutes. Instead, we let him rot on the bench. Rhule is looking more and more like a 3/10 coach with a 10/10 ability to be a motivational speaker.

I'm a Mizzou fan and we have a kid that is one of the top 3 Speedsters in all of college Football Marquis Johnson. But He knows he needs to refine his skills to be that break out star next year.
@@CivilizedSavage The ball does seem to bounce off those two (and not just those two) a lot this year.
I heard he is listed 3rd on depth chart for this game this weekend
Look at his stats. He is just a guy. Jerry Rice ran a 4.7 but with the best hands and route skills you will ever find. I'm a Mizzou fan and we have a kid that is one of the top 3 Speedsters in all of college Football Marquis Johnson. But He knows he needs to refine his skills to be that break out star next year. Coleman would be wise to stay, as he won't find a better QB to catch from.
Coleman is a bust.
The OC was a bust failed this kid
You have to have an option
QB at Neb.
It's true. I have seen it multiple places now. I think itsthe coaches fault for not letting him play the last couple games. If you can play him for a couple games, do it
Lloyd is also outta there. Buddy of mine works with his father and said he's not feeling the lack of opportunity and is entering the portal at the end of the season. Smh losing 2 hometown weapons is a horrible look smh.
Dam i was wondering y Lloyd wasnt featured more. Like do some jet sweeps with him instead of just barney. Also Lloyd was our best receiver last year.
@truthyahweh9877 EXACTLY. Both he and Coleman were the bright spots in that receiving room last year and to see their roles diminished because Rhule couldn't place winning over his loyalty to Satt is now going to cost him 2 deadly down field threats.
@elworthdebarge578 ya he needs to demote Foley also. If Lloyd leaves will he still do track and football somewhere else?
Colorado has 4 true freshman playing this Saturday. Coleman to CU the home of our next HE12MAN.
Nebraska has just as many playing lol
Glad Rhule is following Deion’s plan!
@@CornCrazed I wish he was following Deion's "8-2 record" plan. I also wish he was following Deion's "Manage the clock like a great HC" plan.
We get the players and can’t keep them because of pt, losing, or not getting them the ball. We do this to ourselves and we wonder why it’s always Groundhog Day.
This is one of those situations where we don't know what to believe and we really won't know how good Malachi was or wasn't until he goes to another school. This coaching staff has been an utter embarrassment when it comes to talent evaluation so we just won't know until the kid plays for another staff.
"Don't it always seem to go
That you don't know what you've got till it's gone..."
Saw it coming. It's a bummer, but that's part of Husker fandom: disappointment at least once a week.
That place had problems top to bottom, it isn’t good. Don’t ask me how I know, I’ll get fired.
Any way you can elaborate without getting axed?
It worked out for Adrian Martinez.
Can you blame him? Players these days don't "commit". Put that alongside the curse of Husker football, and it was inevitable. I don't know who made the deal with the devil in the 20th century, but we seem to be paying for it now.
He’s tired of losing
He doesn't want to play for a losing team
Im so pissed. If we dont get terry after this f nebraska
nebraska is the new york jets of college football.
Yes!..Its Sad about Malachi transfer, It was expected after the way they've been playing, And if they lose to Wisconsin there will be alot more! There NO Respect in the team anymore!..GBR!!!
What a hysterical comment after the 1st 6 words.
He absolutely should. The program is going nowhere.
Damn the coaching staff made a BIG mistake on Coleman. He will be a BEAST wherever he goes!!!
Maybe he is a little lazy or doesnt understand the playbook. Might have an attitude and he seems to be hurt a lot. The grass isnt always greener on the other side. If you dont want to put in the work then tough luck for
He heading to Boulder 💯🦬
Crap he would block well as well! Ugh
HuskerJuan is an embarrassment to all other Juans
why are we freaking out about this. The kid doesn't see the field. Makes no difference on this team
Today's Sountrack: Stop, stop spreading those rumors around, "Timex Social Club -
Rumors (Remix) 1986".
GBR: Got Big Rumors or Go Big Red?
Nebraska rebuilding indefinitely. Indiana 1 season
Hopefully he'll take Dylan with him.
Dylan Riola is following suit, don’t be shocked or surprised.
The whole reason Rhule brought in Holgo was for Dylan... he ain't going anywhere he's also hard peer recruting sit down
false and his brother will come here also. they are making $$$ and going to go to the league sorry you like drama where there is none.
what can you do for ME, when will I get MY chance
good or bad kids are not taught patience or team work any longer
seems to me we are in a time of self serving, rather than serving others
Coaches are all about the moneybag. So are ADs. They all run for a better deal in the middle of the night. Why not the players, or are we stuck back in the "players as cattle" days?
Bye Bye. Don't let the door hit you on the way out.
Let them go
dude hasn't shown anything.
To every footballer everywhere
DONT LET THE DOOR HIT YA.
high school transfer policy
College portal
Breeds spoiled brats
Go on and get and the new gig knows what you’re made of before you arrive.
Hope you get a degree
Ya follow?
The degrees a lot of these guys get (Communications, Exercise Science, etc) aren't worth much. They aren't all Ferragamo.
Im not surprised. I see Riola, Lyode, Fidone and Wright next. Those guys want BFL and with little chance at Nebraska, I would do the same.
I can't see Fidone leaving. He's been a major part of the team and seems into the team
Kaelin is next
Good, I hope he finds a team that plays him, instead of waiting for their highly-paid pet to slowly improve.
@ from what I hear he might go to Florida state. I think that’d be cool for him!
20 good young players all want the touches now or I'm outta here....
Today's culture.
Coaches also jump for the moneybag in the middle of the night; they always have.
If he was that good, wouldn't he be playing now?
Not when the clueless staff refuse to use players who aren't senior transfer players as though they owed those guys the world when they haven't put in the blood, sweat, and tears for this team. There was zero creativity with this roster and with this playback all year because those things were a direct reflection of clueless Satterfield. There's a reason he doesn't have that job anymore. He's terrible at finding solutions.
🤷🏼♂️🤷🏼♂️
These kids are soft. Im sorry. Bunch of quitters.
Good for him … the team and coaching staff sucks
Hes unfortunately a head case.
For the algorithm
Nebraskas program is a joke.
The kid was never that good if you would have played in the Omaha Metro he would have been just another guy never even made any All-State teams great athlete no football instincts
idk. Watch him go elsewhere and blossum
He went to the all American bowl game for a reason
Says the racist idiot with zero football acumen. Let's see your resumé, fool.
@userp101top5 based off potential. He's not putting the work in.
@@CivilizedSavage watch his high-school film its all there. You're a casual fan , my son plays division 1 football and has trained with Coleman. Ask the receivers from Bellevue West last year. These kids know who's real and who's getting hype from potential. Look at AJ Rollins he was a super 6 kid and didn't make any all state or metro teams and hasn't played any significant snaps at Nebraska
If he's transferring it simply means he was not as good as they originally thought therefore it's no real loss
This is why Nebraska is such a dumpster fire. We’re literally gonna let a guy that has experience and that showed he can play because he did it last year. You know how he can get better as a football player. You have to let him play on the football field once again showing this coaching staff is crap.
Holgorsen could save him if not Fred Hoiberg!
Barney is next
If all this is true....wow...seems like a huge waste of talent if you ask me....we all know he can play just wonder what really was the problem?
Wish we had more info!
How do you really know he has talent. You’ve never seen much from him. I guess because he’s leaving some have to assume he’s a gem that just wasn’t given his chance to shine. Maybe he just isn’t good enough. Idk
I was hoping he was gonna take the offer from Deion🤔🙃He'd have a year being taught by the greatest CB of all time ; and same position room as the Heisman winner and best 2way player of all time in his 2 positions😂😂Boy what a waste.
He can still go do that lol
and you are surprised by this???? 🤭....i guess you going to be shocked when raiola transfers out after this season as i been saying...and even more guaranteed now since coleman left cause he already knows!......maybe than you will actually get it that coach rhule the clown is the problem...the disconnect....but i wont hold my breath cause u live in commi cali fantasy island!!🥸
No, not really shocked. Raiola would be a shocker since I don’t believe he’s considering leaving. Rhule not playing a guy doesn’t mean he’s a problem lol, it means he has an opinion on that guys best path to grow.
What does my living in a communist state have to do with anything?
@@CornCrazed u asking that question proves exactly what it has to do with everything....u live in fantasy land that is only in your mind...land of make believe like mr.rogers lol.....the fact u cant see that this coach is an absolute bozo the clown and needs to go is exactly my point....and the reference to cali commy is in the fact that u and 90% of that zero common sense liberal state voted for that other clown kamala.....let me guess u still dont see the problem with that either in comparison to this?....i will help u out again....u backing losers in coaches and presidential candidates.....the fact that u cant see this proves my point....liberals have zero common sense!!......in 2 years from now when the dopey clowns in charge in lincoln fire this clown u will still say well i thought he would work out bahahahahahahahahahaha
