It wasn't so much "not sticking to the gameplan" more like being forced out of it. It's the only way to learn and improve is to see your loss for what it is. I'm sure he will come back better.

Conor does get tired and slower, also lowering his knockout-potential, hes always good at stuffing take down attempt unless you can stun him first, if you had a decent reach advantage, leg kicks would work great, so yeah, win a decision by winning 3 out of the last 4 rounds, or weaken him enough to submit him or even get a TKO if you get good timing against him, but still easier said than done (at 145-155 that is).
