***** Its seems like your talking out of your ass to be an opposite. i'm just giving this kid props in my opinion. I've played basketball my entire life and in 80's this kid WOULD have been NBA draft material where as now this is quite frequent. And I'll take you on your tough man statement. Show me a video of a 15 year old kid who isn't in the NBA(since that was my arguement) doing these same things in 80s. please.......
No I'm from Brooklyn, Ny. I grew up as a kid watching a young Stephon Marbury, Sebastian Telfair, Bone Collector. But the point is even in your claim Kenny Anderson was IN THE NBA. Please read before you reply something that proves exactly what I was saying in the first place. And at 15 i'm positive they didn't have 10 times the handles that this kid has. At the end of the day, I'm not here to argue online about a kid I don't even know. I'm just giving my opinion and giving this kid props, not being an ignorant hater by basicaly saying he has NO FIRE. Do you even know him??
@@gnice42don't sweat it it's just people nowadays have so much negativity and can't appreciate greatness, one of the reasons I rather be rich and not famous because I wouldn't have to put up with people's bs
@@gnice42 good thing you aren't a GM. This dude has done nothing in college. Transferred for a third time and has yet to score double digit PPG or shoot above 40% from the field. What you fail to realize is AAU is garbage and teaches you no fundamentals and this kid clearly peaked as a 15 year old physically. Has he even had a dunk in his collegiate career? Nothing has translated for him besides a decent pull up mid range jumper (his only move) and decent passing. He will be lucky to play in the lowest level league in China, let alone the NBA. You fell for the click bait and highlights (Next Kyrie?????) and never actually watched a game of him under a proper setting to truly evaluate him. And part of the reason why these kids have supposedly better handles is because they're allowed to carry and travel as many times as they please and none of these refs call jack shit. You ever watch James Harden, Westbrook, LBJ etc? If they properly officiated they'd average damn near 10 turnovers a game. I mean Westbrick and Harden already average near 4-5 as it is. Modern NBA is all style and no substance, rigged ass shit. No wonder why most of these franchises can't put any butts in the seats and ratings have continued to go down.
I'm 6 years late to the party... did a bit of research after seeing this video. Broke my heart to hear what happened to him @ Duke. In retrospect, I wonder if reclassing to jump aboard Duke early was the best idea. All in all, looks like he's doing well in Boston now. I hope things work out well for him. Just lets me know, I need to be as informed as possible if my little guy is blessed enough to have even half the options Derryck had.
damn crazy potential i love it when people who have talent that can make it somewhere have support from people who genuinely wanna see them succeed good shit devin
I'm 15 also, and I graduate as the class of '16. Seeing this just gives me motivation to take my skills to the next level with HARD work. I'm comin' for you Derryck..
Once he goes to college his game must change from street to organized. Kyrie shows off his "skills" during all star weekend however when the game is ongoing it is organized and clean.
Devin is getting pretty smooth with the highlights on the shift team page.. Game will get more mature and solid with age.. Tight as hell for a sophomore you can't lie..
I remember this kid 10 years back, I'm a year younger than dude. What sucks is the fact that he stopped growing at 15, same thing happened to me, I stopped growing when I was 12 and it does something to you psychologically when your basketball peers hit 6'6+ and your stuck at 6'0-6'2. But basketball isn't everything, I now run a tech company and make just as much as an athlete, while my basketball peers are still trying to "make it", which puts in a wormhole and will waste your early 20s. I recommend you tall athletes make use of your height and leadership skills in the corporate field or become an entrepreneur
played some high school ball but got carried away chasing girls n partying smh ended up getting injured n it’s basically just weekly runs at the gym now 😭
Reminds me of those tough Louisville scoring guards coach Pitino loves to recruit. I think this kid really fits into their style of play. Hopefully he'll be in Louisville, Kentucky next yr if he doesn't reclassify.
Dyqwane Banks hes not! he said it himself he said he likes to use his left for crossovers and stuff and he said it became his dominant hand in basketball but he still has his right
You really are one of the best in the bizz Dev.. Only thing missing was a dope voice over.. That cat on the end should probably apply to @White Bball Pains for a job now.. ha
This mix is GREAT ; Good Music Great Quality Some Extra Fun in the Beginning Of The Mix . The Ending Is Cool I Like How It Stops Once The Defender is Sitting down Basically . Derryck Stands Out From All The Other PGs I Seen On UA-cam Besides Trevor . #Shiftteam
Too late. He got Offers from Arizona, Uconn, New Mexico, Oregon State, Pepperdine, San Diego State, UNLV, USC Already and he is going into his sophomore year
He should be the starting point at Duke. He got the offense going against Kentucky whenever he was in the game. High IQ, good passer, good shot and obviously great handles. D needs work but his upside and what he brings to the offense far outweighs his defensive deficiencies.
i been looking for lorne currie this whole time on dream vision with derryck thornton and i look on this video and hes dancing in the parking lot with him. lol
Hey Devin, I know u know a lot of scouts and stuff. You should really check out Cordova in Sacramento. They have a lot of talent including one of the top players in Cali class of 2015 .. Jordan Roberson. They have players but none of them get scouted because no one knows about them.
i love the fact that hes not cocky but he just loves having fun
The opposite of tacko falls
This video shows it
Plays like kyrie
Acts like shaq
Still watching in 2019

i love watching this mix because of the intro
Damn it's crazy how much basketball has evolved. If this kid was doing this in 1987 he'd be first draft out of high school

Its great that people dont know what hand he is
yerp. he's as quick as me and I'm 23. excited to see him grow. dude is RAW
Once he goes to college his game must change from street to organized. Kyrie shows off his "skills" during all star weekend however when the game is ongoing it is organized and clean.
Best mix I've ever seen. No exaggeration
Getting his team mates involved more than he scores. Great PG in my eyes.
Devin is getting pretty smooth with the highlights on the shift team page.. Game will get more mature and solid with age.. Tight as hell for a sophomore you can't lie..
Such a dope mix George. The best!!!
Love to see you at Mizzou!!!
hes good with both hands!

We never seen a mix end like this so we had to try it. Worked perfect
From when I last saw him few years ago he's grown and improved hugely
like how y'all started the video
lets go DUKE!!! nice to see he has a left hand!!!
Yes Sir!
He's left handed but shoots with his right I'm the same way just opposite
Dyqwane Banks hes not! he said it himself he said he likes to use his left for crossovers and stuff and he said it became his dominant hand in basketball but he still has his right
do u know the dance at 24:00
24 seconds
looks more comfortable using his left hand than using his right. kids got superstar potential.
this music is too chill for his game
He look like dope island
Song is named Dusty #26 by Ta-Ku! It says it at the start of the video. Couldn't find it on the website in the description, though.
this guy has top game man. passer, shooter, handles, good with left and right he has it all
love to watch this guy run the court
That boy at the end should not have had those D.Rose's on getting laid out like that lmaooooo
Lmao noooooooooo

You really are one of the best in the bizz Dev.. Only thing missing was a dope voice over.. That cat on the end should probably apply to @White Bball Pains for a job now.. ha
That ending was funny lol.. were in the sane class. I can honestly say hes the best for class of 2016
Haven't seen a kid this good in a long time..
he can do just about everything but shoot and dunk with both hands.....he's got talent
so much for the whole kyrie comparison
😂😂looking back at this is funny hope the boy do good at USC
Best mix on the channel
he has a left-handed floater. that's impressive
This mix is GREAT ; Good Music Great Quality Some Extra Fun in the Beginning Of The Mix .

love watching this guy run the floor.
unselfish playing is the best way
Man that last one was an actual ANKLE BREAKER it was so sick
all around game: vision, passing, shooting, and handles with a level of confidence. This kid could go far.
i been looking for lorne currie this whole time on dream vision with derryck thornton and i look on this video and hes dancing in the parking lot with him. lol
OK this guy has legit potential both hands and good control in both.
Very good talent, has tremendous potential. Needs to develop his strength and continue to mature. Awesome mix!
Greatest mixtape on UA-cam!!🔥🔥🔥
Great mix! I almost felt that one...
I thought he was going to kill at Duke! I hope he’s doing well.

People hate on these kids just because they have a mixtape on youtube and they dont
He's a natural lefty, he's very talented.
that last crossover was nasty!!!!
whats the mixtape song btw and this kid is amazing
Omg the mixtape was crazy but the end tho..He had him almost sitting Indian style..Sheesh
Definitely a top 2016 pg
Where's the ASW season finale video devin Williams????? Thanks bruh
I hope that ankle ok.
Nice mix his is a great kid also,,,,,
Nice mix
I saw my middle and high school in this Falcons, panthers
What do you call the dance he was doing in the beginning? I felt like dancing when he did that
Got'em with the quickness. GAME...... OVER
I see the Kyrie comparison in both their abilities to use their off hands...Nice Mix
Anyone else think he was left handed for half the video ?
We disagree, so does Kyrie
Amazing handles no doubt! Uses his off hand like a natural, also loving the dimes he be dishing off! Future is bright for Derryck!
So...if you get shifted this bad....is it time to hang your adidas up and call it quits or no? Because I think It would be a wrap for me.
Finishing with both hands, good shit.
