This Conversation is so truthful, I watched it again and again.
This is a clear example of all the issues we have in our society today.. society and especially our leaders are not true to what they preach/uphold values that are meaningful and impactful to the nation often times such acts carry a wrath from God on not one person but a community of people.

The interviwer playing the devil's advocate as a journalist But the truth is clear
The fact is that the pastor is using Wigwe's contribution of 1 billion naira to celebrate her birthday. She is actually celebrating the money left behind because Wigwe is no longer alive to ask for the accounts of how the money is used. We can see judgement has started from the Church.

I wish all this happened differently than what is happening.
We can't force anyone to feel how we feel. It shouldn't be request of anyone to do what he or she is not willing to do.
Manage your expectations and you would be well prepared emotionally for any outcome and be less devastated or disappointed.
This requires self regulation and emotional intelligence that we all need. You only know how you feel about people but you do not really know how they feel about you.
Their words or even their actions towards you when your are alive may not be a just portrayal of their true feelings towards you.

"Today's Church as a business " is too far generalised and not correct; there are Church denominations that are mission and soul winning based and have remained so for over many decades.
I have to say, considering that the Wigwes/Ogunbanjo are the interviewer’s friends, she did pretty well. I wouldn’t have known she even knew them just by watching the interview.

Its very unfortunate for the timing of the Birthday with Wigwes death. Let us remember that the Birthday was planned months ahead of time. People bought tickets from overseas to attend the Birthday in Nigeria. All these people will loose the money if the Celebration was canceled. Venue and other vendors have been paid. A lot of money will be lost if canceled. However, the celebration should have been toned down. Invite gospel singer instead of - Flavour Agba baller. Have a service for the Wigwes on Friday night by the church before the celebration. I have seen where the mother of the groom passed a week before the wedding. The wedding was not cancelled but was toned down.
Please go to bed and stop this whitewashing.
