How do you get Jude down for a nap as an older toddler? Any tips when toddlers have a nap stike? My daughter is 18.5 months old and teething. 😬
Consistency and routine. He doesn't always nap these days, but he knows to stay there during quiet time. He's my only kid I ever used a sound machine for and it helps, he know that when it is on it is nap/bed time
Your deck space is so perfect for all your family gatherings! Those lights are a nice addition...you could put posts in the corners and hang them higher if you wanted. Really enjoyed this vlog. Your kids are precious, and I thought how blessed they are to have a mom like you... been watching since Evie was little ❤

I’ve watched your videos for around 5 years but this is my first comment. 😊 We live in IN but just got back from a trip to the northeastern U.S. Your past Nantucket vlogs really inspired me to go there and it was at the top of my list. I visited some of the same places you did, like the Hospital thrift store. My teenagers and I had a lot of fun there.
Anyway, I have a book recommendation. I know you usually like mysteries, but have you read any of Elin Hilderbrand’s books? The two I’ve read (Hotel Nantucket was one), both take place in Nantucket and she references many real locations on the island. Besides your vlogs, they’re the other reason I wanted to go there. Maybe you’d like them too!

Hi Hilary! I had to share my Cape Cod/Nantucket experience with you as you helped inspire us to stop talking about it and just GO! The day we were on Nantucket we passed by the Mitchell’s Book Corner book store and noticed that they were featuring my favorite summer book author Elin Hilderbrand who bases her stories on Nantucket. I noticed that the book featured “Swan Song” is her last to be written of the island. As a frugal person I kept walking but couldn’t stop thinking that the book would make a nice souvenir of our trip there. On our way back I decided to get it and I realized it was a special Nantucket edition with Elin’s signature! After paying, I turned around and noticed a blond woman coming through the door carrying a box of books and I thought to myself that she looked VERY familiar. As I passed her and went outside to my husband, he said to me “isn’t that the author of the book you just bought?!” 😳 I couldn’t believe he recognized her and I didn’t!!🤪 Though you might enjoy this story and thanks for the inspiration to go!!

I just loved this video and your lovely family party for Jude’s third birthday. How wonderful that his sister made his birthday cake. I watched another UA-camr prepare for her sons birthday and the money she must have spent on a ballon arch, personalised backdrop for photos and many various decorations. Each to their own of course but your son’s birthday party looked such a wonderful family afternoon. It reminded me of the birthday parties we had for our daughters many years ago now. I hope Jude had a lovely day
