Yeah, I saw them once in '99 or '00 and saw them the year before the pandemic, more energetic and passionate the first time, much bigger, longer and polished show the second time. They sounded great both times, though.
Lex picked up the vibes well and Brad , too. This is a late '90s/early '00s Bush song. Kind of fusion of post-grunge, alt rock, industrial dance metal. Kind of electronic industrial, new wave, nu-metal. Unique band, kind of all over the place with their music. . Like NIN, Deftones, White/Rob Zombie, etc. Experimental rock music. . Bush was big during the '90s and '00s. Many hits from them. Bush singer, Gavin Rossdale was married to Gwen Stefani (No Doubt) years back and has children. Good looking family. LOL at Lex. This is like the 5th Bush song yall have done.
Being the 5th Bush song you've done.. Now ya gotta do 'Comedown', 'Swallowed', and 'Cold Contagious', 'Greedy Fly', 'Letting The Cables Sleep', and 'People That We Love'! THEN, ya gotta do some of their newer stuff!!
Love to see Bush on your channel! I’m seeing them live in Toronto February 9th and I’m super excited 😱 I’d recommend you checkout Greedy Fly by them next. Great reaction 🙋🏻♀️👍🏼🙌🏼👏🏼💜🇨🇦
Recently went to see Live in concert and Bush opened for them. Bush stole the show! Man are they good live... Live was good too. I know the confusion between Live and live :-)
I feel like my generation can be divided into two categories: those who thought of Gavin as "that guy married to Gwen Stefani" and those who thought of Gwen Stefani as "that chick married to Gavin." I was firmly in the second category. Bush were So. Good.
I was never a big Bush fan. I saw them live this last Sept... they're were awesome!! Best show I've seen in a long time. Check out "Bush opening walmart amp" vid on UA-cam.
According to songwriter Gavin Rossdale, this song's oblique lyrics are about lying in bed with a lover with a major rift of understanding in the relationship... or, more generally, the song is about "differences between people."
After having (and loving) the album "Razorblade Suitcase", but haven't heard it for years, i fell in love with Bush again when this song came out. After that i bought all Bush albums there were at that time. I love their sound and Gavins unique voice. i hope they'll never quit or die 😁
This was the first single in 1999 from Bush's 3rd album 'The science of things'... Personally, it was a mistake releasing a track w/ electronic beats and programming... the album itself was a rock record w/ guitar-driven tracks like 'Warm machine'... 'Prizefighter'... etc. 🤘🤘🔥🔥
Bush was my band back in the day. Machine Head was my song. I thought I was going to grow up and race dirt bikes. I could do anything the pros could do but I didn't know how to become a pro.
This was Millennial Alternative Rock. I checked the year date on the album, and it says 1999. Very progressive and electronic at the time, I suppose. I was a Junior in highschool when this video first came out, so I remember it well. Razorblade Suitcase is still the very best Bush album for me personally.
Give 888-critical mistakes a listen and be sure to watch the video. Also twenty one pilots - car radio is another that should be on your list. Love your stuff, keep up the good work.
Just saw them live a few days ago. They were great! If you wanna check out new music from them, "More Than Machines" or "The Kingdom" are pretty good :)
Bruh. I kno theres alot of other reaction channels that have some of my favorite songs of all time, but u guys are reaction to some of the bangers of my childhood 😊 do alien ant farm if u havent already. I just discovered u guys.
i always though this is the opposite of a love song. like a break up song. it just has the vibes of anger, confusion and things being in disarray. its not harmonious if that makes sense.
For the most part, it's very late 90s. @joesmith8725 pointed out NIN and Rob Zombie-to me, the style in this song borrows from electronic/hip-hop/trip-hop in a way not unlike Rob and NIN, but instead of mixing it in with metal, they're mixing it with their sound, which I'd say is more generally alt. rock, grunge, post grunge...etc...which is pretty f------ dope, now that I'm thinking of it; maybe not a whole lot of that particular mixture out there; a lot of mixing of rock with those styles generally, but not so much with a grungey sort of sound...maybe Smashing Pumpkins (I know neither of those are considered grunge; hence 'grungey' lol) but that goes to my one point where I'll validate Brad's assessment that it harkens to earlier 90s...it's basically everything besides the sort trip-hop style beat, and probably the chorus...everything else; the guitar front and center at first, the style of the guitar riff, the space in it and the mood it sets; the pauses, and how the vocals come in...all of that moodiness and more raw feeling-does strike as early 90s now that I've considered it. I love the trip-hop type sound design on the beat too, though. It's bangin'. Classic song
There was an interview with Gaven where this song was said to be based around a relationship he had and I think it was Pink which her song Just like a pill was also supposed to about. Could be the Mandela effect on my part admittedly.
Bush is totally underrated. Such a great band live, as well. Love this song.
Yeah, I saw them once in '99 or '00 and saw them the year before the pandemic, more energetic and passionate the first time, much bigger, longer and polished show the second time. They sounded great both times, though.
Saw them a few years back and Gavon ran into the rows of seats several times. That makes the concert fun and exciting.
One of my favorite bands for sure. Listen to them everyday at work. And I seen him in concert in 2022 at the usana slc. Suuuch a good concert!! 🤘🤘
Bush was not underrated they was the most popular band 95-98

Yes yes yes to Cold Contagious. It's such a good song.
No shit, Swallowed is their greatest song.
It’s about the differences between people and the distance that’s created during arguments and how you see the person differently.
You guys need to do more Bush, they are one of my all time favorite bands and they have a ton of hits.
Always loved this song. The sound suggests a nu-metal and alt rock fusion.
exactly at this time back then, its sound weird to me, back then the singer was in relation with Gwen Stefanie i mean....i´m not sure
If u loved 'Glycerine'... u should check out the Bush song "Letting the cables sleep" ...it's a ballad.
Gavin Rosedale and Gwen Stefani were married for 14 years. Wow, the talent between the two of those mega-stars
"Machinehead".. "Comedown" .. "Little Things" .. "Everything Zen" ... ALL are great songs by Bush.
I saw Bush in concert with Moby opening. Awesome show. The floor was mad crazy....
16 Stones was a breakout album for Bush.
They have a very cool sound.
Love to see Bush on your channel! I’m seeing them live in Toronto February 9th and I’m super excited 😱 I’d recommend you checkout Greedy Fly by them next. Great reaction 🙋🏻♀️👍🏼🙌🏼👏🏼💜🇨🇦
Love this song. Excited to say I'm going to see them in concert next month!
The music of Bush makes me so happy, even when the songs are angry and sad!

That grunge alternative rock.

This song is so sick and so different then everything! 90's for the win!
This was the first single in 1999 from Bush's 3rd album 'The science of things'... Personally, it was a mistake releasing a track w/ electronic beats and programming... the album itself was a rock record w/ guitar-driven tracks like 'Warm machine'... 'Prizefighter'... etc. 🤘🤘🔥🔥
you guys bring out the songs so well.
Nice t-shirt Lex 🤟🏼 love how you appreciate and feel great music 🎶
The sound between the first album they put out 16 Stone and razorblade suitcase are so different but yet in my opinion are equally great to listen to.
i dont think they are that different, but do agree that both are good
@@pleutron well a my opinion I think that the whole album of razorblade suitcase isn't as grunge as 16 Stone and it has more of a darker sound
Love this one
Oh yes, when mtv2 and muchmusic aired awesome videos.
Love this song.. I believe this is from Bush's 2nd album.. First time seeing the video, which is cool, but the Live Woodstock '99 video is awesome!..
it's their 3rd album
This song and this band are so good.
Alternative I'd say 🤷🏻♂️
They have a few great tracks
Cool tune. I think this song has been in a lot of movies.
The former Mr Stefani
Dang talk about a blast of nostalgia to the '90s!
Love this song!
Wait til u hear them do "Letting the cables sleep."
Bush was my band back in the day. Machine Head was my song. I thought I was going to grow up and race dirt bikes. I could do anything the pros could do but I didn't know how to become a pro.
I was probably like 9 pr 10 when this came out i remember watching it on MadTV bush is a classic love their jams
Grew up with this band, and pearl jam, nirvana, soundgarden, silverchair, offspring, live, etc, etc.
Can't get enough of it..The memory remains.
Such a good song ❤
In the day, this was just considered Alternative.
Do Swallowed by Bush!
Seen them 2 times live like 2019 last I think!!! Insane!! Great band!!! He rocks from start to finish
Grunge 💜💜💜💜💜🥰
He was with Gwenn Stefani before. Good band though.
My coming of age soundtrack

Good song. I believe Gavin and Stefani were known as the power couple.
#ToolArmy
Check out Bush "Swallowed",
I think y'all will like it right from "Warm sun, feed me up..."
...you've heard several Bush songs already, though? How old is this recording?
A brilliant British band that did much better in the US than in the UK. Good luck to em.
Give 888-critical mistakes a listen and be sure to watch the video.

When are you going to do Comedown!
I think this will be one of your top videos!
90's Grunge
this is actually a very, very sad song. it's an ending
Check lex out with her and justice for all shirt!!so cool 😎
Lightning crashes by Live
React to John Lennon jealous guy plz
This is pure post-grunge....
i think brad has learned a lot from lex lol
Please check out bush's mouth music video
It's not really a love song. It's more about love in a philosophical question. There is attraction but not love in the relationship
There was an interview with Gaven where this song was said to be based around a relationship he had and I think it was Pink which her song Just like a pill was also supposed to about. Could be the Mandela effect on my part admittedly.
Hmmmm.....
I like when i see to Lex with shirts of rock.
God I hate the 90s concept videos. You can stop watching when the karate chops start flying.
I think it's about the drugs they're both doing.
He's right early 90's
Late '90s
nu-metal
