1:40 plastic like PE and PET vacuumbags does not prevent aromas to get in/out (molecules are smaller) and oxigen can get in/out so that oxidation of lipids are ongoing. use aluminium-foil vacuum bags - without vent - it makes a difference.
I have 8 pounds of Ethiopian coffee, divided into 4 bags of 2 pounds each. Can I put all of this coffee in a vacuum sealer and freeze it? Or should I divide each 2-pound bag and freeze it separately when I open it? Then, can I keep the remaining 4 bags at room temperature?
0:40 in my taste coffee as espresso tastes the best between 8.th and 12.th day after roasting - it looses imho alot after 20.th day (and all that under vacuum)

I felt this, too. The difference between aluminum wrapper and PE was so huge.
do i need to defrost it before i grind? or i could just straight away grind it?
@@richardlau349 Let it defrost slowly on your counter overnight
