They will say that hindsight is a wonderful thing but, most reasonable people, with no legal training, would know that the officers identity must, out of necessity, notbe revealed and that the public needed to be made aware of the criminal past of Mr Kaba. It does beggar belief that the courts could behave the way they have, in this case. Doing things the way they have, the courts have, predictably, created a continuing horror show. I think the courts created the horrendous situation of the recent riots, by withholding important information from the public. I'm afraid Ms Miskow has avoided the point. You are discussing the particulars of this specific case. The argument about 'institutional racism' is a wider matter and doesn't relate to the Kaba case.

I totally agree Kaba was a menace, with his repeated crime history. He showed no intention of changing his life, despite spending time inside.
The fiction that he was an aspiring architect and a family man was shown to be false by his continued gang inspired violence and his battering one of his partners.
The courts were happy to deny the public knowledge of his criminal history yet, they felt it was appropriate to reveal the identity of the accused officer, before his case was heard.
They will say that hindsight is a wonderful thing but, most reasonable people, with no legal training, would know that the officers identity must, out of necessity, notbe revealed and that the public needed to be made aware of the criminal past of Mr Kaba.
It does beggar belief that the courts could behave the way they have, in this case.
Doing things the way they have, the courts have, predictably, created a continuing horror show.
I think the courts created the horrendous situation of the recent riots, by withholding important information from the public.
I'm afraid Ms Miskow has avoided the point. You are discussing the particulars of this specific case. The argument about 'institutional racism' is a wider matter and doesn't relate to the Kaba case.
The judge ought to be ashamed of himself and if this officer and his family come to harm then he should be held accountable
