I so agree with the post below! This family has been such a pleasure to watch. It will be sad & exciting when they leave the nest. Thanks so much

They have such an endearing way of cocking their heads upside down to study new things and watch what their siblings did as they grew up. This is my favourite eagle family of all the web cabs I watch. No horrible fights, no picking on each other. Your camera work is so good. Their parents were so in love and I think it is fitting that these are the last babies from their great father. I do think he perished from all that unexpected snow. He was older than her, and there is no way he would have abandoned her. She wins my vote for mother of the year. She certainly knows how to raise babies. She taught them how to eat fish, first by leaving the fish there and they had no idea how to pull it apart. They watched each other and slowly learned how to do it. If they couldn,t get it at first, mom would watch and wait and before they eventually figured it out, she would give in and feed them. They are lucky they are in such a good location with an abundant food supply. Another group I watch, trees are smaller, can't at the moment remember their name, all the babies did was fight uncontrollably, I think because there wasn't as much food. Love, love, love this group.

Hi Susan, I love your comment. I think you might be speaking of the Decorah Eagle cam and I couldn't agree with you more. Dad Decorah was an incredible mate and father. Mom Decorah is majestic. This video is from the MNBound eagle cam :)
