Sure those recomendations are true for DD7 but for every other DD they suck. You dont need fancy work around just straight up build Xtreme and Spidersociety for global and city nodes, vahl and whoever you want (kestrel, void, kang etc.) for cosmic , and for legendary sections just use OML and somone with slow would be great and you will 1 shot whole DD with it. G18 is way easier to get now, we only need to be cost efficient in DD7.

I used black knight in DD5 at 4 red and 4 yellow and he was dying too easily.
Also, Ghost spider is the best because shes in bio and Skill tags. Its more in the game than DD's. The raids are the bread and butter all players .

Global: X-treme Xmen OR Out of Time Plus Weaver
City: Robbie + Hive Mind OR Spider Society
Cosmic: Void Knight, Deathpool, Kang, Vahl, CGR
Legendary: Old Man Logan, Nova, Black Cat, Green Goblin Classic, Red Hulk
Mythic: Apoc, SuS, Dorm, Doom, Kestrel (Mephisto for second run)

You won't get in til next year with those picks. You're not going to have the gear needed for those teams unless you are spending wild money, which if you were you would already have Mephisto and by the time you have the gear needed there will be better options to bring in than what you picked here...
Just fyi you only need 4 mythic to start that section
You will take forever with X-Treme X-Men, OOT is not a good choice for DD7. You better off with Cabal + Nightclawer and Black Knight/Weaver
City you want Robby + SPS over Hive Mind. HM is good but SPS is better and will last in meta longer
Cosmic: take Eternal over CGR and Deathpool. Eternals might seem costly but they the best option until we actually get better Cosmic toons.
Legendary: Red Hulk is pretty bad. Rogue is better now
Mythic: you only need to bring 4 not 5. Take Doom over Dorm or bring Dorm over Doom.
Extreme Xmen Sunspot is ok and mine is g18. But take jim out and add ROGUE or Old mam logan to replace Sunspot.

Save health catalysts. Vahl is not needed in Cosmic. Got through it in 5 attacks without them. I used eternals, Kang, photon, and stitcher. Got through both nodes in 5 total attacks.
Too bad there’s 3 nodes
Extreme Xmen is the best in all game modes. I dont even Apocalypse and Extreme Xmen got me through the first 5 nodes in DD6. Super Skill, is not all that.
I'd love to build any of these characters, but now that we're forced to build up entire new raid teams for every raid, IDK where I'm going to find the training materials, let alone the uniques for all of them. That's not even taking into account trying to slowly work toward Apocalypse.
Most of the current raid teams will also work for every other game mode, including dd.
Extreme x men: raids and dark dimension
Spider society: raids and dark dimension
Eternals: raids and dark dimension
Bifrost: raids and somewhat dark dimension with vahl
Pegasus: raids and dark dimension
So just by building your raid teams to what they need to be for raids, with the exception of alpha flight who is a war team, you are building up your dark dimension teams
@@sogekingsimp2469 Of course they do, but there isn't enough in the way of training materials for someone in midgame to do all of that while still pursuing the Apocalypse teams. Hell, I can't even keep all my raid teams current as we're moving up through the raids. You also have to keep enough CC teams current to win occasionally or you don't get the currency to complete many of those teams.
There just isn't enough training mats to keep them all up. Endgame players don't have that problem because they only have to build 1 team at a time while they're releasing, and they can hoard in between.
@@zebrion5793 I understand where your coming from and I agree. I might be a little behind or in front of you, have 2 accounts I'm actively working on, one of which is in the early game and my main which is stuck in mid game hell at lvl 92. And I think its important to clarify, that mid game in this game is very different from mid game in most games. I'd consider lvl 80-97 to be the mid game personally because that's when your getting those raid teams for incursion, your putting more effort into war and your doing dark dimensions. My main account right now, was at the time optimized when I made it, but I had made it at a weird time because the venom promo just came out, superior 6 and hive mind got reworked and extreme x men started taking off. The grindable characters were also updated 2 weeks after I made my account, so when I was around lvl 55-60, everything I knew had changed. So my optimization was out the window because I couldn't keep up with the meta, so understand what your saying and agree because the game changes every month or 2 with a new team release or a rework, and of course sesosn changes.
But for new players, the game is easier then ever, because they are starting off with these brand new OP teams. My new account that I made about 2 weeks ago now, is almost optimized perfectly or as much as possible with 2 accounts and the want to touch grass, and it's going very well. I have a lot of knowledge now that I didn't before, and I understand what's happening. So when I was given, for free by the game (through a 2 week daily reward and of course milestones) Spider society, Cabal, extreme, sinister/sup 6, out of time and hive mind, i had no excuse to fail to optimize for the mid game. I already have the teams for raids, for early crucibles, for war offense and some defense, arena, dd, all the game modes. I can focus on preparing my apoc by getting the stars for these characters and building them up on the side and so on.

The main thing I want to say is that it's all up to you and based on what you want to focus on. I'm in a fortunate position as someone who would be considered behind compared to my lvl, to be in a very good alliance that is doing incursion 2.3 and spotlight 1.1 (1.2 when alpha flight fully drops) and they don't expect me to actually participate. They just want me to grind, so I can put my raid teams to the side and focus on apoc. Which means focusing on the things that I failed to upgrade because of my own ignorance. Apoc is very much a late game thing, you aren't getting him in the mid game. You need tier 17 for a full 7 star apoc which is lvl 90, and you need 4 trash ass teams for it. And then you need 4 teams for those trash teams so that's 8. And if you want to have a perfect, easy, go at it, you'll probably need 12 to get through all the nodes. And you'll want legendarys like nova and black cat that make it easier, and for them you need like 3 or 4 teams so that's 20. If you are wanting to get apoc before the late game, then you don't understand the game, but I completely understand.
And as for cosmic crucible actually, I find myself not focusing on making certain teams for crucible, mainly because I just always win. I don't think I'm in a good league, but I don't lose, and I don't even have good teams. I have maybe 3 teams, OOT with a GT16 BK and then every else sub 70k power, a weak 300k hive mind with 150k VK, and then a team of spider society with big time and weaver, also sub 400k. I save my best teams for offense and don't lose. If you are losing in crucible at the mid game, that's just a skill issue and a failure on your part. Going back to the raid teams, they'll carry you through. My 900k extreme x men stomped a 1.6 million black order with Thanos in the final room 0 issues. I haven't gone sub 50k in crucible in like 2 months.
People say spider society is insane for city nodes
Dd1 you almost have to take the first 5 you get to 7 stars
