omg a new thrones cnr clipper!!!!!! (subs quietly) axia is too cute even when suffering from kanji www ganba axia!!! study a bit more with oliver-sensei! i think for 1:26 he's saying 5級 and then 5級クオリティ? (as in like referencing his lvl 5 english with his kanji skills) ty for the cute clip and tl!!!!!!!
Yes, I was wondering if that's what he meant as well. The pronounciation of that word (gokyuu) sounds like the word 5級 (lvl5) and the slang ゴキュウ (crying), and both fits the context. So I was a bit in dilemma about which one that Axia meant through that word lol but thx for pointing that out! This could help other viewers to understand more🙏
When you thought that being a foreigner learning Kanji is hard, but seeing Axia having a hard time as a Japanese, I'm glad tht we have mutual feelings for tht. xD
Ah so axia gonna join Oliver sensei as niji EN haha. Axia struggling with kanji reminds me of selen asking everyone in discord how to read her Japanese rap line in debut song.
As someone who’s not japanese nor korean, I personally think hangul is easier than hiragana/katakana. Ofc kanji is the hardest lol I can’t even read one character(?)
Yesss- Knowing how to write and read Hangul is easier- It's kind of like the English alphabet ww That's why seeing characters similar to Hangul in japanese comments/videos confuse me-
you can def learn how to write and read in hangul with a few hours of dedication, kanji on the other hand makes me feel like i have amnesia bc the second i look away i immediately forget them....my peanut sized brain is just not built for this ;--------;
seeing you guys having trouble with kanji too makes me feel that I'm not alone in this Japanese learning journey..ಥ‿ಥ 一緒に頑張りましょう皆さん!ファイトー! ..and gwah~ Axia's so cute!
Well there's the normal conversational kanji and the names kanji, so i'm pretty sure most japanese people are okay with the conversational one. The names one is tougher cuz there's no context to it where you can infer whether it should be read as the kun-yomi or on-yomi way.
So cute~ Though my attention keeps going to his little canines waaa(≧▽≦) This is so relatable that it kinda hurt tbh- Took Japanese class for almost 6 years and I still struggle with kanji wwww I'm glad that my japanese keyboard change what I typed to kanji automatically lol Thank you for the clip!
kanji is difficult even for japanese. one time i was in a call with a native japanese friend while playing a game and he had to google how to read something, and complained to me that kanji is difficult w

Yes!! When it comes to writing I feel like hangul is definitely easier than hiragana/katakana and kanji but I find talking in Japanese easier lol
Here's some easy kanji for you:
一 : 1
ニ : 2
三 : 3
Easy, right? XD

If a native person is struggling, I think I will just give up on kanji. Hiragana for life!
Poor baby 🥲
Minna, please change your YT usernames to hiragana/katakana 😂
