I love hearing your vet receptionist saying your kitty is so beautiful. One of my cats gets that reaction from the vet every time. The long haired one. The vet and all the techs always say, "oh we wish we could keep him!" And it cracks me up cuz, while beautiful, he's my standoffish boy. My short haired boy is the snuggly cuddly lover, but at the vet he gets so anxious and scared that he presents as a difficult cat. I'm always like "he's super sweet and wonderful at home! Really! I promise!" 🤣🤣🤣

For cross-stitch, you should get those washable pens, which you can draw outlines of the color you are currently doing, it will make cross-stitch so much easier!

I don't keep track lol! I used to when I was first learning, but now I just assume that I've done the stitch (I do one color at a time) and am all done with a color/symbol once I've scrolled through the whole pattern. I feel like that doesn't explain it very well, I'm sorry, but I rarely miss a stitch of one color but if I do then it's no big deal, I just go back and fill it in on my cloth when I notice I missed something 😃

Your “thing” is water leaks. Mine is AC/Heating systems going out. My first house (only 7 years old), HVAC went out within the first month. Had to buy a brand new system. Second house, AC/heater went out the day we moved in!! Bought a second HVAC system. That’s an expensive expense too. Ugh!

That same thing happened to us in our apartment in California. We went out to work, came back, the carpet was under like 3 inches if water, I looked up and water was INSIDE the lighting fixture! Supposedly, the upstairs neighbor had a flood, so we had to have them do a bunch of work in our apartment to fix the problem and fans pointed at our carpet for days to keep it from getting moldy. Boobies = HAPPY + NESS! 🤣🤣🤣
