In these recorded talks, Stony Brook doctoral candidates across disciplines present their dissertation research conclusions to a general audience in three minutes with only one powerpoint slide.
Our goal is for SBU graduate students to engage all their communication skills to make their research vivid and engaging while emphasizing its key points without jargon or distortion. Student competitors have received specialized communication training which will aid them in becoming the next generation of innovators, leaders, teachers, and advocates.
