    How do you label your palette ?

      I have a map I provide with my list in my newsletter. You can label on that and actually put it under the clear plastic tray if you wish.

    But it isn’t in rainbow order…

      Why not rainbow order warm to cool.

      This is what I've learned and it's stuck - it basically follows the color wheel which is what I use more than a rainbow. You can go with any color order that feels right to you. The goal is to stick to it so you can find your colors. I also like having my Lemon Yellow in that upper right hand slot first slot so it's easy to find - I tend to paint with the palette rotated so the yellow is at the top. Note the blue primary is in a corner too. In my larger palette I have all warms on one side and cools on the other.
