I’m a 49 year old American & usually only listen to Classic Rock, the 80’s-90’s and a little Smooth Jazz. But lately I’ve started to explore music from other countries and I gotta say that this Greek style is downright Amazing. I especially luv these upbeat songs with the long guitar (Bouzouki) solos. Can’t get enough of it & definitely going to be listening to alot more from now on.

The Greek Bouzouki changed my life. It was the first instrument I picked up as a kid after seeing “E Muzeki” play at the local renaissance fair. My parents got me it from Greece as a Christmas present. It opened me up to playing violin, piano, and guitar. My love to Greece!

When I was in my early 20s there was a restraunt called the Corenthians in Cincinnati, Ohio that played traditional Greek music on the bouzoukis. I am a hard rock guitarist, but this music totally amazes me in every way possible. This video and the players are excellent. Thank you for the ear candy!!! Amazing skill on the bouzouki, and well supported by the guitar and percussionist. Interesting to see a bouzouki supported by a cajon from the other side of the world.

Ruben de Groot Greek music has been popular since the 1950th. and still popular today. the Greek singer who brought Greek music to Israel is ARIS SAN.. and he lived in Israel since 1954. i'm not sure how to spell his Greek name, but is very well known. he sadly died .in Romania , he was shot by the Italian mafia where had a night club.
      peace

If it is, I'm so sorry for your loss, I love this instrument, ever since I found for a school assignment, please, stay your unique, unicorninie self, and don't let bad things defeat you, let them make you a stronger, amazing, beautiful version of you
