I was 9 when my appendix ruptured. I didn’t tell anyone I was sick or in pain for 3 days until they realized something was really wrong. My grandfather was an LA police officer at the time and I had a police escort to the hospital. I died twice on the table during surgery. I woke up in ICU with two tubes in my side and one down my throat (which was being pulled out as I was being brought to). I spent two weeks in ICU and another two weeks in recovery. It was the scariest thing my mother had to go through. She still cries about it today and I’m 41 now. I still remember my hospital stay so vividly. All my nurses were amazing and so wonderful taking care of a rambunctious child doing wheel chair races up and down the hall with them.
From the state you were in when you got there, most of them were just remarkably relieved you even survived at all, and they were thrilled to see you make that progress... What's a wheelchair race when a child could've died at any time for the first 2 or 3 weeks she was in the place??? Nearly nothing... and as long as you were up for it, they know to encourage you to move around and do stuff for yourself as much as possible... ;o)
Honestly, if I was a surgeon, I'd be saying "You know why" to that question then knocking every patient out. Most entertainment tour getting that shift is the look on their face to that

I'm a 35 year old man and I regrettably shit myself to START my day after waking up just not feeling too well for whatever reason one day about 2 weeks ago. I got "that" feeling and simply thought I just needed and was about to pass gas. Well, I majored in a science field for my bachelors degree and thus know that under normal circumstances and conditions, gas doesn't come in solid and/or liquid forms - so I immediately knew mistakes had been made and my hypothesis was far from correct. No one wants to start their day off by immediately being proven wrong about something but more importantly, by starting their day off with a Code Brown and waddling themselves like a 2 year old to the shower while cussing their self out and reevaluating their own life choices as they throw away what WAS just a moment ago a perfectly good and unsoiled pair of shorts. Needless to say, I haven't trusted "that" feeling since; hopefully one day we can reconcile. Moral(s) of the story: never trust a fart when not feeling well - and have confidence that it's a fact when saying anyone at any age is fully capable of shitting themselves. I don't know why you would be saying this to someone under any circumstances other than the one this comment is about but at least you've already factually proven your point if it is necessary.

It was hard with the audience. Most of it was okay. But there were a few points where subtitles couldn’t figure what he was saying and neither could I. About 4 sentences each time were missed, maybe 2 or 3 times. Wasn’t horrible but I could notice the difference from some of his other videos. But the good parts were easy enough to hear and comprehend.
Epic! Dude, I love when the nursing staff are willing to mess with you back. I've been through 4 major surgeries, spent 10 weeks straight hanging out with the infectious disease ward (which also was the cancer ward) and I know that joking with them when its nothing important is okay. And so you had one accident. Waaah. I peed all over that ward, the elevator, etc cuz I'd had a catheter (for 9 weeks out of 10) and also accidentally sprayed infected stomach bile from the nasal-gastric tube on another hallway wall (yep, bright neon green). I've also had to undergo at least 15 colonoscopies so I just assume that from all the blood, tears, and various other body fluids/body parts that place has cut out of me, I have clearly marked that place like I wasca male dog. I think I own all the little corners...cuz...I'm a f***ing unicorn!
Every time I make a new good group of friends I ask them to tell me their "I shit my pants story" because it makes me die laughing and everyone has one.

She leaves, and im getting concerned thinking I might need to remind them who I am, when she comes back in and says "I read you the wrong discharge" im thinking fuuuck, shes got me mixed up

That’s just standard procedure now so they make sure not to operate on the wrong one. People have had to have double amputations before because they cut off the wrong leg or arm and then had to do the other one that was meant to be cut off in the first place.

Getting really bad now pains cramps, I'm standing funny contemplating just leavi g my 5 yr old and getting in the car make a u turn and race home. Well I know it's 5 minutes till the bus is here, I cant leave the kid too little, so I'm doubled over in pain squeezing my cheeks shut when all of a sudden I don't know how a huge mass just fell out of me into my sweatpants. I gently got into my car hardly moving my legs , somehow got to the bathroom and had to empty my sweats into the toilet. This compacted poop baby was the size and weight of a softball. Not saying I won't be praying you get sent a Good Dr, & Funds for it, & Your mom the Stength to get through if and when you do ever recieve it. And by some chance you don't these things make people like us Stronger and Empathetic to others pwoples plites & the world needs more of that kind of thing today 💯🙌💪💜 So I will get on this right after watering the dog lol & Happy Birthday & Merry Christmas to you all. As a rad tech who worked in an ER for many years, I have never seen right lower abdominal pain be anything other than appendicitis if it makes you feel any better about the validity of the poke :P
I had a moment like that in junior high during summer school. Literally begged to go the shitter for 30 minutes. Finally was able to go and popped as soon as I opened the stall door.

My sister had an appendicitis scare and they told her that she would have to wait 3 days to do tests to see if it was... she went to the doctor twice and both times they were like, "it's most likely appendicitis but its Friday so we cant do testing till Monday, see you then."
my fiance had to have emergency surgery to save his life, but had to go through the VA. It took so long to get him check in and waiting just in the ER to approve surgery we watched the ENTIRE Lord Of The Rings The Fellowship of the Ring from start to finish. Had one man crawling around the air vents, one having a mental break down screaming he had a bomb and wanting his mother, one poor guy blood everywhere. They gave him so many pills he was seeing poka dot dolphins singing around the room. Plus the surgeon saying they kept what they took out of him in a jar, and still have no idea what they took.
That was the rudest crowd I’ve ever seen! They were talking over him, laughing when they weren’t supposed to and I couldn’t even hear him most of the time.
I had a hernia op a few years ago & when I was being prepped the nurse came in with a bowl of water & a bic razor. She was most disappointed when she found out I shave everything anyway.
I’m guessing most of these people are used to perfect mics in big rooms and high quality production, they need to go to a small bar or comedy club, I can hear it jus fine

I'll appologize now for any punctuation mistakes as I always p.o'd the english teacher with over punctuating a lack of or run ons lmao bc I'm an A-hole to sometimes😂 but having survived all I have &Having many hearing Impaired Family members, I totally get it & makes me feel useful again & I have been really down & not feeling like myself lately so Thank You for that Gift.💯🙌 I can also understand your Mom's concern bc i have been under the knife since i was 17 & my Ma had to watch her child fo through things she could not make better & that helplessness to help your child, the fear bc it's not like it use to be i'm almost 43 will be in Jan. And I muself do not trust these today Dr's as i have some of my older passed Dr's the rules are different now & I am sure she is very concerned as you are hwr child & It's her job to protect you. Not saying I won't be praying you get sent a Good Dr, & Funds for it, & Your mom the Stength to get through if and when you do ever recieve it. And by some chance you don't these things make people like us Stronger and Empathetic to others pwoples plites & the world needs more of that kind of thing today 💯🙌💪💜 So I will get on this right after watering the dog lol & Happy Birthday & Merry Christmas to you all. Because as much as I may struggle there was a time i didnt think i would live past 17 and I'm fast approaching 43 now my trials have made me who I am on the Inside & that I would not change for the world🙌💯💪 Warriors for life, Glad to help.😁🤗

I have had surgery and I got trolled by basically every nurse. it's like they have nothing else to do but trolling patients. it is so funny to be in a hospital.
As a rad tech who worked in an ER for many years, I have never seen right lower abdominal pain be anything other than appendicitis if it makes you feel any better about the validity of the poke :P

I was 4 when I had my appendix removed, they tried to send me home, I would have died if my mom wasn't so paranoid 😂
My sister had an appendicitis scare and they told her that she would have to wait 3 days to do tests to see if it was... she went to the doctor twice and both times they were like, "it's most likely appendicitis but its Friday so we cant do testing till Monday, see you then."
my fiance had to have emergency surgery to save his life, but had to go through the VA. It took so long to get him check in and waiting just in the ER to approve surgery we watched the ENTIRE Lord Of The Rings The Fellowship of the Ring from start to finish. Had one man crawling around the air vents, one having a mental break down screaming he had a bomb and wanting his mother, one poor guy blood everywhere. They gave him so many pills he was seeing poka dot dolphins singing around the room. Plus the surgeon saying they kept what they took out of him in a jar, and still have no idea what they took.
