The crowd went crazy after Blaney passed Busch, myself, and pretty much everyone was cheering. Loudest Pocono race Ive heard in a long time.
All of them congratulating Blaney makes me smile. Takes me back to the 2011 Daytona 500 when Trevor Bayne won.

It sucks that this is his last year. I think there was something wrong with his car after that, no matter how hard they tried to fix it. He has been doing better this season after he got used to his new car last season. Now he is better now that he has a different car.

I think this is gonna be one of those races they show in the future when we have rain delays at pocono. Really a great race. Awesome win for blaney and a great race for NASCAR history books!
This finish is tied for best Pocono finish with Jeremy Mayfield Intimidating the Intimidator.
1:34 The moment that ended Jimmie Johnson's dominance, and winnings days (and pretty much his career). He had 3 wins that season going into this race. It's now 2020 and he hasn't won since, infact he hasn't even come close. after that wreck he finished the season remainder of the season (22 races) with 0 wins, 3 top 10's and 1 top 5. Before the wreck? He ran in 13 races 3 wins, 3 top 5's and 2 top 10's.
This wreck literally altered his career, and possibly changed Nascar history forever.

This was so cool to watch! I was pulling for Blaney since he was in the truck series. Just someone you can get behind and root for.
Carlos Diaz i like how he came to race and showed kyle busch he can out drive him too . congrats to the young driver
to be completely fair, he had newer tires than kyle, Kyle finished 8th due to older tires. He out drove Harvick more so than Kyle.
Either way he drove like a champ and won. That with his stage wins is gonna be sweet man. He can definitely get that chase now.
Man I was cheering for Ryan over Kyle and I can promise you Ryan didn't out drive Kyle. Kyle was the best car all day, Blaney had newer tires. It was a no contest.
that is true but Kyle gave a young driver every reason to get flustered and push it too hard. he stayed collected and waited for a clean pass. That was the pass of the year so far, for me. there was no doubt he was going to pass the 18 and blaney worked it like a vet

technically yes his dad never got a win in the cup series but he did in lower series
In Cup, Dave Blaney never won. In the Busch Series, he won once (in a weird race when the leaders collided with each other and it left Dave as the leader).

The Iceman, how so? None of the first-time winners this season led the most laps. You could say Ricky Jr. had the fastest car since he sat on the pole. I'd say they all earned their wins on merit.
Gator Jeaux Talladega and Daytona are notorious for being random af. Did you know that 11 drivers have earned their first career victories at Talladega? Most of them never won another race. You have a good point about his car. I believe he may have had the fastest car, too. Plus, being a Mississippian, I was rooting for Ricky to win. XD However, the uncertainty surrounding restrictor plate races makes me question the merit of his victory... *obviously* he had never even contended for a Cup race win prior to Talladega.
For his sake, I hope he gets another win and doesn't become another statistic, if you know what I mean. If he gets another win, then I'll certainly be convinced that he is a better driver than I thought. He's already better than fellow first-time winner Austin Dillon. XD

We were there for this race in the infield. My driver is Harvick and as cool as that would've been it was awesome to see a first win, and a win for the Wood Brothers
