@@SWMP1523 Trevor Bayne has talent, Roush has just become a sub par team with mediocre equipment and little to no sponsorship. That's why they lost Kenseth and Edwards and why even Biffle is never a contender anymore

I think this is gonna be one of those races they show in the future when we have rain delays at pocono. Really a great race. Awesome win for blaney and a great race for NASCAR history books!
It sucks that this is his last year. I think there was something wrong with his car after that, no matter how hard they tried to fix it. He has been doing better this season after he got used to his new car last season. Now he is better now that he has a different car.
1:34 The moment that ended Jimmie Johnson's dominance, and winnings days (and pretty much his career). He had 3 wins that season going into this race. It's now 2020 and he hasn't won since, infact he hasn't even come close. after that wreck he finished the season remainder of the season (22 races) with 0 wins, 3 top 10's and 1 top 5. Before the wreck? He ran in 13 races 3 wins, 3 top 5's and 2 top 10's. This wreck literally altered his career, and possibly changed Nascar history forever.
Man I was cheering for Ryan over Kyle and I can promise you Ryan didn't out drive Kyle. Kyle was the best car all day, Blaney had newer tires. It was a no contest.
that is true but Kyle gave a young driver every reason to get flustered and push it too hard. he stayed collected and waited for a clean pass. That was the pass of the year so far, for me. there was no doubt he was going to pass the 18 and blaney worked it like a vet
So proud of Blaney for getting that win! What makes it impressive to me is the fact that his communications were all messed up, and yet he still won! Once again, proud of ya Blaney!
I was SO VERY PROUD of Kez!!! He gives the victory interview to the kid who gave him the victory interview the day before!! HOW COOL IS THAT??? Well done FOX Sports for a very well done video!!!
christopher200XX gaming Out of the three first-time winners this year, he is the first one to earn a win on merit. He's going to be an excellent driver in the future.
The Iceman, how so? None of the first-time winners this season led the most laps. You could say Ricky Jr. had the fastest car since he sat on the pole. I'd say they all earned their wins on merit.
Gator Jeaux Talladega and Daytona are notorious for being random af. Did you know that 11 drivers have earned their first career victories at Talladega? Most of them never won another race. You have a good point about his car. I believe he may have had the fastest car, too. Plus, being a Mississippian, I was rooting for Ricky to win. XD However, the uncertainty surrounding restrictor plate races makes me question the merit of his victory... *obviously* he had never even contended for a Cup race win prior to Talladega. For his sake, I hope he gets another win and doesn't become another statistic, if you know what I mean. If he gets another win, then I'll certainly be convinced that he is a better driver than I thought. He's already better than fellow first-time winner Austin Dillon. XD
We were there for this race in the infield. My driver is Harvick and as cool as that would've been it was awesome to see a first win, and a win for the Wood Brothers
In Cup, Dave Blaney never won. In the Busch Series, he won once (in a weird race when the leaders collided with each other and it left Dave as the leader).
What a year!!! Who would've thought you'd see 3 first time winners 0 wins for Gibbs. RCR making a comeback and the 3 car seeing victory lane again before the 24. I see rivalries for years to come with these kids coming up.
Can you imagine the pressure on young Ryan Blaney, rearview mirror filled with the man they call the “Closer.” If he makes a mistake, he loses the race....
Somebody pointed this out on Twitter and I figured I would say it in here. Junior has been spending a lot of time in the simulator and I wonder if the shifter is slightly different in the simulator than in the car
Blackopsmw21VLOG Says the kid who doesn't know that Junior has been spending a lot more time than usual in it. I don't know why it's so hard for a Junior hater to see that
littleike222 Well, maybe he needs to spend more time in the real car than a simulator. Why does he need to spend so much time in a sim, because he's so good? No, because he sucks!
Dave Blaney never won in the Cup series...this hast to be ultra-sweet for Ryan Blaney getting his first career win at Pocono. 11 years ago, Denny Hamlin got his first career win in the same race.
Sunday was great and terrible at the same time. Sucks seeing Jimmie go out but Blaney getting his 1st win and holding off one of the best current drivers those last couple of laps? Good for the kid!
Can you imagine that 2017 Kurt Busch says that Ryan Blaney would be a superstar and it actually happened in 2023 when he won a championship? It’s almost like he knows that Blaney was going to win a championship.
The crowd went crazy after Blaney passed Busch, myself, and pretty much everyone was cheering. Loudest Pocono race Ive heard in a long time.

Ryan Blaney, like a shy little kid: *tsch*

All of them congratulating Blaney makes me smile. Takes me back to the 2011 Daytona 500 when Trevor Bayne won.
RealDealDude it was the best part of the race
RealDealDude I haven't watched Nascar in 2 years but that is one of the races I remember that was great.

This is the race that every Jimmie fan wants to have never happened
I am a JJ fan, but I think that crash may have ruined his career. I saw a video about it

yep he hasnt one a race since the week before this he just hasnt been the same makes me wonder

winningfreak1 he was on his way to his 8th with the pace he was at in 2017
Makes me wonder if that did something to him mentally. He sounded really shook after that.
Jimmie saw the danger in that wreck
Sounds like when Vettel crashed at Hockenheim.
Favorite quote in NASCAR “tshc” -Ryan Blaney

I'm Really happy for Ryan Blaney, Congratulations on his first win!
This was so cool to watch! I was pulling for Blaney since he was in the truck series. Just someone you can get behind and root for.
Carlos Diaz i like how he came to race and showed kyle busch he can out drive him too . congrats to the young driver
to be completely fair, he had newer tires than kyle, Kyle finished 8th due to older tires. He out drove Harvick more so than Kyle.
Either way he drove like a champ and won. That with his stage wins is gonna be sweet man. He can definitely get that chase now.
Man I was cheering for Ryan over Kyle and I can promise you Ryan didn't out drive Kyle. Kyle was the best car all day, Blaney had newer tires. It was a no contest.

Good job Ryan Blaney. Keep up the good work
I love how NASCAR is so supportive when other drivers win, especially rookies.
F1 is just a shitshow when it comes to sportsmanship
Josh When in F1 do you get to see new drivers winning for non-top 3 teams? No chance to show sportsmanship when it’s all so consistent.
So proud of Blaney for getting that win! What makes it impressive to me is the fact that his communications were all messed up, and yet he still won! Once again, proud of ya Blaney!
So good to see Blaney get his first win. There is some serious young talent in NASCAR right now. Future's bright, y'all!

Adam Moreira I know that much but this comment on referred to the cup

Man the races are so so nice
He won without a mic props to the team for finding a way to communicate
I was a nervous wreck pulling for Blaney after that last restart
I was having a panic attack then lol
Is it the revelation of a new Dale or Gordon? I think so. This kid got a lot of talent.
I love how everyone was glad he got his first win
Love seeing The Wood Brothers win
Best radioactive by far. That driving is why Blaney if by far my favorite driver!!
No way in hell this is the best radioactive by far. The Martinsville 2015 one is better for sure. Probably a handful of others beat this one as well.
That's the wreck that virtually ended Jimmie's career
Wait, I thought it was just supposed to be Haas and Red Bull with brake issues
Red Bull doesn't race in MENCS.
CGK I'm making an F1 joke :P
