The crossing of Juatinga, Cajaíba and Mamanguá is one of the best trekking circuits in Brazil! This region, located in Paraty, in the state of Rio de Janeiro, has unmissable attractions such as the Saco Bravo Waterfall, the Cairuçu das Pedras Natural Swimming Pool, beach Grande da Cajaíba and the viewpoint of Pão de Açucar, which has a spectacular view of the entire Saco do Mamanguá, the only Brazilian fjord.
On this trail we pass through the Juatinga State Ecological Reserve and the Cairuçu Environmental Protection Area, home to traditional caiçara communities and special people such as Dona Dica da Praia Grande da Cajaíba, who live in this remote region that is only accessed by boat or trail.
