THIS is what a true Jockey is like. She has the skills to back it up, unlike the other (unfortunately) female DJs who only press play and dance. She corrected the beat even when it wasn't part of the set. She even manually matched the beats and handled it beautifully. In layman's terms, she just put to rest the stereotype that singers would lip-sync by introducing her own lyrics on the spot.
Though there was some mistake in her saving, but I have to admit she did pretty decent saving. Not many of us can do what she did. Hats off to her. Great job, Miss!

There's people who can hit 32 stroke rolls with 1 hand, look at gravity blasting. Also drummers will use bounce to their advantage, that can also apply to fingers. Most mistakes people make is you don't swing all the way down, you actually stop before the skin. You should already be moving yourself ready for the next hit before the current hit has actually happened. She could have also achieved this with setting the snare hit to loop and ramped up tempo/timing as she went 🤷

I used to DJ at rave clubs in Hawaii back in the late 90’s. It sounded so much better with vinyl records on Technic’s SL-1200 MK3’s. Having that much electronics doing the work makes them look so lazy back there. Swapping out the records after sorting them and putting them in the right order in the milk crates so they would be ready for my three hour set was just part of the gig.
Those taps sound ridiculously offbeat , But still , she react calmly and overall its a good recovery.. In this situation Some djs might just chop off to other track immediately ..
