Feu de poids lourd A6 - Arrivée des Sapeurs Pompiers de l'Yonne

Les pompiers de l'Yonne en route pour un feu de poids lourd sur l'autoroute A6 à hauteur de Sepeaux: Pour l'anecdote: les pompiers se sont déjà déplacés la nuit pour un accident impliquant ce même camion. C'est lors des tentatives de dégagement et de remorquage qu'il aurait pris feu dans la matinée et a finalement brûlé totalement.
Die Feuerwehr auf Anfahrt zu einem LKW Brand auf der Autobahn A6. Das Kuriose dabei: die Einsatzkräfte waren bereits in der Nacht bei einem Unfall vor Ort, an dem dieser LKW beteiligt war. Während der Bergungsarbeiten am Morgen fing der LKW dann Feuer und brannte vollständig aus.

Crazy how in other countries people respect lights and sirens and they only need 1 or 2 beacons. Here in the states we need a UFO of lights costing 5-9 thousand dollars.

elfederal01 I dont think more lights and sirens make people respond better. It is more the mentality that has to change and they have to lean to watch their mirrors.

Funny to see, even a FE has to stop for a Toll Machine.
There are more intelligent technologies for that (eg VTAG)

As far as I know, they do not pay a toll. Simply insert a token which lifts the barrier. All emergency vehicles carry them. We have a same system here on our toll roads.

According to the latest scale, there are 78% of volunteer firefighters, 17% professional firefighters and 5% military firefighters out of a total of 246,900 firefighters in France.
