These vocals on all of these covers are amazing. You would think that would be the weakest point. I love that these covers have introduced me to a number of musicians I may have overlooked otherwise.
@@cheddarpants Yes! They’re one of my top seven bands, and I’m really excited because a post on their Instagram says they started recording their fourth album today.
I think when live music is possible again, you should throw a festival where all these bands play, and then end with a supergroup doing all these covers. I know you’d be wrecked by the end of it, Gwarsenio, but I think that’s a risk we’re willing to take!
At 3:30 you finally nailed the bouncy groove of the main riff! Outstanding! I was listening to it the whole time amazed that you could hit all the notes so cleanly, and thinking in just a few years you'll really get the groove, but you got the groove BY THE END OF THE SONG! I cannot express how lucky I feel that we're getting to see you develop as a guitarist. It inspires me to improve every time I watch.
aw man, they have baroness and mastodon. my inner progressive sludge metal discovering 23-year old from 2015 is feeling really warm and fuzzy on the inside right now.
Bro, both Sludge and Stoner wouldn't have existed if it weren't for Sabbath. But Sabbath themselves were a part of a movement called Occult Rock, an agalmation of Hard Rock, Psychedelic Rock and Prog Rock that incorporated occult lyrics. It's as if a proto-version of Progressive Sludge (minus the Hardcore Punk influence) have existed even in the late 60's/early 70's. Look into bands such as Black Widow, Coven, Antonius Rex/Jacula and Jethro Tull to see where you favorite genre came from. Compare Lucifer to Coven, and you'll see. Heck, Even King Crimson were as heavy as Sabbath, when Larks' Tongues in Aspic came out in 73 (I really do think that that album qualify as a proto prog metal album).
A couple of weeks ago i discoverd these Two Minutes To Late Night cover videos. I thought they were great and that Gwarsinio was just a very funny guy. After watching a few i started thinking 'Wait, this guy is not just funny, he's a very good guitar player and an amazing singer as well.' And now, a few weeks later, especially after reading all the beautiful stories in the comments, about what it means to people and how much they enjoy and even need this in these trying times, i'm thinking he's much more then that. To Gwarsinio, to all those involved in these covers and to everyone at Two Minutes To Late Night: thank you very much for this! You beatiful people truly make the world a better place!
How could anything ever top Anthem, though? My God that was incredible. So sad I missed the 24hr period to buy it since I didn't even know about this channel until a week later >.>
Can I even rank them ? It is possible ? 1. Anthem 2. Snakes of christ 2. Make loving fun 2. Running down a dream 2. crazy train 3. All the rest a close 3rd
This video has been brought to you by Shutterstock. I kid, I kid. I love the channel - every video is a fantasy jam I want to be a part of. Thanks for the great content!
I wish I could like this 100 times. Marty, Bill, and Johanna are 3 of my favorite artists in the world, and Fleetwood Mac is one of my favorite bands of all time.
Another amazing cover. Fleetwood Mac and Prince ... two great tastes that I had no idea tasted SO great together! But can we talk about the real star of this video? That Wolverine Blues vinyl ... my heart is all aflutter.
Killed it, again. If you're enjoying these become a patreon to support the artists, even a few bucks a month is worth it. I gladly pay to support these videos, this shit keeps me sane.
My mom passed away awhile ago and this was the first time I've been able to listen to this song without getting depressed, it was her favorite. Thanks guys
Oh my GAAAAWWWD.....these covers just keep getting better and better!! F*** AWESOME VIDEO!!!! And the sneaky "Hard Melissa" cameo......I mean......I wasn't prepared for her in a negligee. It's just.......um......well now it's warm..........in my special place!! 😍😍😍💕💕💕🌹🌹
Love this cover!! Honorable tribute to the Mac, and beautifully accented in all your unique energies, and that homage to Prince at the end fit so well. Marty with those beautifully sublime sustained 2-3 step bends!
Man, I think this one may be your best one yet. It’s up there with Anthem. I love hearing the Prince reference too. Makes me think if I was hanging with you guys back in the day I wouldn’t have to explain or defend my Prince LPs (like when my friends would look through my collection). Man, they would get to Lovesexy and flip back to the Motorhead or ahead to the Slayer, or SSD.
Of the multitude of self produced social media entertainment options that have sprung up as a result of the COVID lockdowns, this is by FAR the best one I've seen! I love everything this channel is doing! Love the vibe! Love the players! Love the song choices! Just great, great, stuff! Keep it up!!!
E P I C!!!! I love this Mac cover tune so much. Just purchased the EP off Bandcamp. Just......wow! Love the Purple Rain "whoo whoo whoo" touch there too. Thank you!
Love this! Back in 1970, Christine McVie (maiden name Christine Perfect) put out her first solo album. Google "Christine Perfect solo album" and look at the album cover. The chair she is sitting in will look familiar. Also, the "Fajita Roundup" footage is priceless!
Jesus windsurfing Christ, these backgrounds were hilarious, especially the sea of brodsky on the super woo's at the end. Stephen always cracks me up, though.... Not to mention Marty's windmills at the end... Magnificent cover, all around.
Damn this ones gonna be funky ! This song has got some soul to it ! Now to put a metal twist to it ! Awesome ! Keep up the awesomeness! You should do a Alan Parsons cover or a yes cover lol
Can you get all the record labels to agree to you guys releasing all of this music on an album? Because, hot damn, this is the best stuff I've heard in a long time.

Holy shit marty Friedman
Austin Powers: yEaH bAbY!!!
That's exactly what I said!
I was hoping for Gina Gleason (when I saw Baroness in the title). Still good though (my brain is saying I should write that).
@@nomadnomad9517 the world needs more Gina!
Yeah yeah, whatever. Holy shit Hard Melissa!
Not to take away from Marty Friedman, but cmon guys, can we get some Bill Kelliher love going here? The guy is an absolute guitar MONSTER!
Yes he IS! I love me some Bill Kelliher.
Yesssss!!!! Billy K always make me fall for the riffs.!
Bill is awesome but this is like his 3rd video so that's probably why Marty has gotten most the excitement.
He is a beast
@@xraided18700 that and I mean, they got Marty to play in a cover. Something that's unexpected.
Had to come back and listen to the best cover of Christine I've heard.
Who's the blonde lady singing? I LOVE her voice!
I found the random backgrounds appearing behind Marty way funnier than I should have
Searching for Witchy stuff on Etsy was what killed me

Was that Danzig's house?
Holy shit, it was Danzig's house!!!!
They even snuck in the infamous “evil bricks”! That’s nuts.
Apparently He moved into Lucille Balls old house after that house in Silver Lake. That's just kinda weird.
Weird, but very Danzig.
Danzig tried to move into a house in jersey but the blood wouldn't run up the walls like it was supposed to.

Helluva cover . Wasn't expecting to hear metalized Mac today . Good stuff !

I have to admit Soft Melissa turned out to be my favourite part in this. Still, again outstanding performance by everyone.

nice how you worked in some Purple Rain there.

Yeah, kudos to version with John Baizley.

Yep 👍
Amazing. Dropping in Purple Rain at the end too. Love it.
HAD TO!
I thought I was going mad!!
Nice to see Steve Broadsky use his inside voice :)
Brodsky is a vocal chameleon, Gwarsenio too.
Seeing Nicke and Marty together in a song makes me think not everything from 2020 is lost.
Great to see Nicke behind the kit again! Takes me back to the Wolverine Blues video!
He's such a great drummer
This channel makes me look forward to Monday morning. How's that even possible??
Maybe they should cover "Monday Morning" by Fleetwood Mac next!
Marty Friedman, Entombed and Cave In... it's like a ‘This is your life‘ of my path through metal. Can't wait!
I remember when the Wolverine Blues video debuted on Headbangers Ball. Good times
A lot of people that show up on my playlist in theese video, kinda bizarre 🤣

(his apt is THAT small)
“Electric Avenue” cover! Thanks! And, you’re welcome, in advance of how epic it will be!

Rest in Peace Christine McVie. Your music will live on (as evidenced here in rockin' fashion).

“Witchy stuff” lmao
That made me giggle...
You guys need to release the "all Stephen Brodsky background" as a wallpaper!
