Wow, I'm from Argentina and riding my bike in the Sliven area up to Mt Karandila, 1200 mts high every wknd, Rhodopi is a bike heaven and you showed it wonderfully, you inspired me to do it this year soonest the heat allows. Saludos Guillermo
This part of the county is a XC MTB heaven. Or gravel on fatter tires. There is a course/path around all of the lakes in the region-Batak, Shiroka polyana, Golyam Beglik, Dospat with different length so you can plan trips with any level of difficulty. Real nice.
Thank you for visting and seeing Bulgaria with your heart. You have visited one of the most special for us Bulgarians area - Rhodopi Mountains. Sadly, depopulation hit Bulgaria quite hard following the collapse of communism and those mountain, remote areas. We lost almost 3 million people since 1989. We used to be 9 million. For the ultimate food options, always go to the so called "pazar", which is an open market available in many towns with fresh fruits, veggies, honey, etc and no Lidl is not the best option. If you decide to revisit Bulgaria and love your hikes go to the 7 Rila lakes or visit the Pirin mountains or Devin and see the waterfalls. Basically, Bulgaria is full of nature but bad roads heheh
Hi, thanks! I partially followed the Trans Rhodope Route. But southern Bulgaria was nice in general. I did some very beautiful day tours before and after that trip. And I used komoot for planning the routes.
I think he is referring to the font that you've used. Many people don't like Papyrus. Try using something clean and simple like Helvetica, Inter, Montserrat, Arial. @@svenjaschrade

Hello! Well shot :) Do you have a path or map that you followed? I'm planning a trip through this area soon and I'm curious which route you chose :)

Amazing images, great mood, I would prefer to change the captions and typo and will look like a pro footage ;-)
Thanks! :) Which captions, which typos?
