Lady Gaga isn't even my kind of music but this song came on my Apple Music station today. Never heard this song before then, but I instantly knew how great this song was.
This is actually one of my favorite songs of all time... the lyrics are truly vulnerable, and Gaga shows that so genuinely, especially through this rendition. I love how she performs the song in its simplicity, at the piano... especially at the Monster Ball. I miss this tour/era so much, and I didn't even attend a show physically. She means so much to me, and this song is one of the many reasons why I admire her so much.
Oh, I can't believe this was almost 8 YEARS AGO. The Monster Ball was one of my favorite tours ever, it was so spectacular, and she barely had 2 years of career as Gaga. This woman always left me speechless.
