oh man, I know the feels, coming home with a purchase from harbor freight and knocking off the cap of a bottle of bud light.

That looks amazing. Designing the kiss blocks to be "in the cloud" really makes it a whole new game. I imagine you will be able to save a lot of time by preprogramming the entire job in just a few minutes.

Very nice! Gotta put in the work and one day I’ll be able to get one of those bad boys.
Computer controlled valve and a sensor very interesting. I bet programming the controller was lots of fun🤓

I'm just getting started so I ended up ordering one of their 12 Ton presses. Fits perfectly in my urban setting. Fewer hammering sounds for my neighbors...now there will be hammering and burrrrrrrr souunds!!! 😅

My thoughts exactly, I hope the cut away was so they could pore it through a clean cloth to filter the glass out of the liquid.

Is there any benefit to using either press or hammer over the other? Grain size, structure? Hardness?? I saw an outfit rolling knives where it spun several times fast on large steel rolls. So, I figure I'd ask as if anyone can tell about these 3 modes should be this fellow.

A hydraulic press sucks the heat out of the billet, a power hammer helps conserve the heat with the blows creating friction. A press isn’t meant for thin metal it’s meant to draw out thick to manageable. A hammer can work with either but the size it can handle is based on the size of the hammer.
