@@coflyer2949 Solid. Absolutely no issues, unless you count a blown signal light bulb and both headlights. Truthfully, I thought it might be a bit troublesome but it hasn't. Jaguar got this one right. ...and it's FUN!
Cool thing about this is the supercharger. No stupid turbo lag that the Germanz offer. AWD with bigger engine is good also. aLthough 340 hp is quite poor, competition gets 400hp from 3 litres.
I was gonna buy this but I ended up going for the G Wagon instead. Maybe I'll get this for my GF after watching this review. Kyle you made me want to get it even more now thanks a lot bro this will make a great Bday gift.
Can’t lie, love Jaguar and seriously considering getting one. The only thing that doesn’t give me confidence is that I like to do basic maintenance jobs myself and I’m not seeing a lot of them on UA-cam 😬
Great review Kyle! This vehcile doesn't look that bad. Especially this trim levels. I love the new position of the headlights, but other trims of this vehicle sort of blends in with the crowd. Keep up the great work! -DriveAndBeDriven
The XF is a beautiful car! Beautiful colour combo, too! Blurple with latte leather interior! Very nice! For some reason, this blurple reminds me of that of some 90s Ferraris! Please, make a Pure Sound video! The XE sounds a bit louder than the XF with the same engine!
I think many car companies are losing their touch. Everything seems to look the same as if parts are just recycled and put onto something else. The lights, styling, the interior, etc.
I agree with the 3 of you too (and I own a jag) lol. But I think this is why people prefer older cars. Everything is so electronic and "advanced" now that its no fun. Something as simple as interiors from older cars. 80s, 90s, etc. Plain, simple, but unique. Everything looks like the next car now.
kano b Yup its odd. The new vehicles are very capable and some of the features are great. But still a reason why i will always prefer older vehicles. Simple interiors and no electronics its great.
I'm thinking about purchasing a 2017 Jaguar xe but I don't know whether to go for the 25t prestige or the 35t premium. Ik there's a difference in the engine size but I was wondering if the 35t premium had the same amount of options as the 25t prestige since it has the next level engine. Or does the 25t prestige still come with more options since it's the prestige. Somebody please help.
I'm digging the color and the overall style of the new Jaguar XE, but could someone explain why they're using incandescent brake lights on a luxury sedan?
It's because of the american safety standards, which require a bit bigger rear hazards for better visibility! For this exact reason, the american safety standards also require marker lights! @8:06 - 8:10, if you look more closely into the headlight, you'll see a white triangle, in the headlight's outer edge, near the front arch! In the European-spec cars, like the red XE, this is white and it's there for cosmetic reasons! But in the American-spec cars, like the blue XE tested, this triangle is orange and houses a small light or a number of small led lights and, like the rear hazards, it's also used for better visibility! The marker lights can either be in the edge of the lights or in the bumpers, again near the wheel arches! Also, many cars have marker lights at the rear too! The XE doesn't have them, though (or maybe, I didn't notice them!)!
So the difference between the xe 35t r sport and the xe s is basically the tune of the engine and a couple of exterior styling cues or is there more than just that??
I think it is a beautiful yet subtle car. The Germans (3 series, C-class & A4) seems to have crazy, swoopy space age styling which I feel is a bit heavy handed. The XE at first doesn't stand out but its interior is great & I love the understated yet luxurious style that Jaguar has been doing. I would love a XE 35t R-sport AWD, but the my only reservation is the unknown reliability & somewhat high pricing.
thisBLUEsweater Is it really that convenient though? You still have to have the key fob on you (most likely in your pocket or purse), so it only saves you the time of reaching into your pocket or purse, pressing a button, and turning a key. Not to mention the pain it is to get into your car if your battery dies.
Jai Bronson I have keyless entry on my car, and in my opinion it's one of the most convenient features. Yes, like you said it "only" saves you the time of reaching into your pocket/purse, pressing the button, and turning a key, but that's exactly why I find it convenient. Those little things are very tedious to me, and the fact that I just put a key fob in my pocket and never have to take it out till I get home is awesome to me. And as for the battery dying, you're right, but that's a very rare scenario.
thisBLUEsweater I don't see it as being that convenient, but to each their own. My uncle has an Acura with the keyless entry and his battery died on him at the beach. He had to call an Acura garage to figure out how to get into his car.
It's convenient and useful. In winter I leave my car on and run into a store for 5-10mins and come back the car is nice and warm. On super hot summer days I do the same when I get back the car is cool. Best part, the car is locked and I have the key. Can't do that with a regular key can you....cause you gotta take the key out. Or I just jump into n and press that button and it's so fast. Also I can't get locked out the car....EVER because the doors will not lock if the key is in the car.
Had the pleasure of test driving this while my parents and I were searching for my first car. Great vehicle, quality interior. What ultimately drew me away from it was that it only sounds good with the v6, I wasn't keen on a 4 door, and I wasn't necessarily impressed with the infotainment system and dash
@@deeb.6060 hey man. Funny enough, I ended up with a 2016 Mustang. Still have the Mustang and have upgraded my fleet to include an 88 Corvette and a 98 Corvette. Sold the 88 after about 6 months ownership and currently daily driving the 98.
Hey Kyle I have a quick question will there be a review of a Volkswagen Golf R, Ford Focus RS, Jaguar F-Type SVR and a Jaguar XJ it would be great if you could reply thank you.
Hey Kyle, can you get your hands on a last-gen Ford GT? Would love to see an in-depth tour of one of the best supercars Ford has ever made. Especially now with the newer version coming soon.
I like it I think its pretty cool. Honestly I would definitely buy ine of these suv f pace cars my god it looks good. The XEt r is very nice looking as well but I want to know what.kind tuning options I could get. obviously pulley will be available eventually and I'm sure exhaust will be soon as well. Does anyone else like hearing what different cars turn signals sound like?
I do, it's also nice when they let you configure the sound level of the signal click.
Yes but only because some are oddly bad
The old jags turn signals are nice especially the xj8.
yes! had anyone of you fellow car enthusiasts noticed that BMW ones blink faster?
Too bad Kyle doesn’t do that anymore. My fav turn signals are Lucid Airs
This guy does great reviews, most other reviewers just drive around and say its good or bad. This guy is an encyclopedia on the car he's reviewing
Correct !!!!
Jaguar's v6 is the best sounding v6 in the business
Not better than the Ghibli in my opinion.
yeah that's true. I do really like the Jaguar F-type, however
My favourite, is 3,5 V6 in Toyota Camry :)
Alfa Giulia Quadrifoglio 2.9 V6 Twin-turbo... coff coff
The Alfa engine sounds sweet
I've been obsessing watching XE salted videos while my XE R-Sport
arrives and this is the best review.
Did anyone see the butterfly on top of the door at 1:25
🤣
A jag with no chrome exterior accents? Love it
Jaguar is churning out some pretty sweet vehicles :D
Interior looks very classy and luxurious in latte colour leather.
V6 is a stunning sound
I just bought a 2017 XE and really appreciate your detail with this car. A very informative and lively review. Great job! Thanks. --Fink

I think many car companies are losing their touch. Everything seems to look the same as if parts are just recycled and put onto something else. The lights, styling, the interior, etc.
I agree! cars nowadays have no individual characteristics.
exactly.. Jaguar have wrecked the marquee
The chassis and steering are also losing feel. Taking away the driving experience in some sense.

I have 2019 XE jaguar it's a great car
That's a nice ride Kyle. I wonder if their newer vehicles are better reliability wise than how they were 10-15 years ago.
Hank's Small Engine Repair my 03 xj is reliable only thing I would worry about is the tech
After 2010 when Tata took over the company from Ford the reliability went up immensely. 50% in the first year.
They're better than ever now.
Alex Lamberty my 03 xj never breaks, also its not jaguar anymore its a shell of a once great brand
I swear the new chime in land rovers, and jaguars sound better than the old one

the new xj still has the jaguar soul. this new xe doesn't though. I can't really call this car a jag.
why are the rear hazard lights different on the blue one?

Why do the two different Jaguars featured have their rear turn signal/hazard lights in different locations? Seems like an odd decision to me.

you should do a review of the 2017 ford super duty

why the heck are blinkers non led? that's just unacceptable

How reliable is jag compared to German car companies and Japanese car companies?

Hey Kyle you should review a 458 Speciale or Aventador SV
I'd rather see him review a 1963 Pontiac Tempest.
These are not full led headlights these are the bi xenon
can you review the audi a6 avant or the rs6
Interesting color.
jesus christ I haven't watched kyle in a while. the intro made me jump lmfao
This entire car industry design movement has gone to shit. Excelent review Kyle, for what it is.
Please do a video of the 2007 Nissan Xterra PLEASE?! 😔
beautiful
lol the coolant recovery tank looks like the same pne in my 2003 taurus idk why i spotted that.
Who noticed the butterfly on the door at 1:26 ?

where is the viper review
Why don't you unlock car like before

pricing?
