I hope it gets better. But have a bad feeling that it won’t last long. As for vehicles I would like to see more muscle cars added to the game, and be able to use on the drag tracks.
More muscle cars would be dope, I would personally like to see some new bikes too!! I do agree about it not lasting long only because it’s taking so long to come out, many will probably get bored of the map pretty quick after being on Oahu only for a year
I have a bad feeling too. From what I've been seeing, 2024 has to be the worst year for Ubisoft, and when Motorfest launched I didn't like it. It felt like it had less content than The Crew 2. Smaller map, no Jetsprint, no Hovercraft, no helicopter, no new customization for cars.
If I tell you that I enjoyed NFS 2012 & 2015 more than motorfest, I am not exaggerating. Even though that the two games have less map size and car collection. What made them enjoyable are the PvP varients, e.i NFS 2012 was basically like Burnout, which was amazing, NFS 2015 also had races, drifts & etc.. So what makes games enjoyable despite their map size, are the replayability, and when I say replayability, I always mean online different, refreshing mode experience. For me, it doesn't make sense that I need to wait this period to get a basic mode. It's like waiting COD to add Teamdeath match( a very basic mode)! I think either the devs are lazy or there's a huge problem with servers. Sorry for the essay, and as always great video Block.
I actually agree because I enjoyed MW2012 way more too for that exact reason, the game was so fun but multiplayer really was so well designed!! I do hope they bring way more modes into Motorfest because that’s what it truly needs so bad…
Ivory is making history again, no kidding. They did it with the Wild Run update when they literally change how the game look. They were able to add multiple racing tracks and change the handling during the life of the second game. And now they are going to add a big island that is actually connected to the main land. No matter what happens to Motorfest in the future this DLC will be remembered, like forever. TDU SC is coming and we get a new island for Motorfest, Unbound got brand new game modes and FH5 is getting bigger and bigger. Life is good for racing fans.
Yeah I’m having high hopes with this map expansion, there just needs to be lots of new events and not a single playlist or something again because then it may get boring a little to fast…
the new island is a great thing, but as I've said many times, they need to balance the cars, and if possible fix the slow gear changes in the old cars, how many special cars have we had since the release of the game as prizes at the summit, but no one uses them because they simply are not good enough. I think they still have time until the release of TDU, because after that I don't see the purpose of playing anymore
I unfortunately do agree here, you are right about many cars not being good but also not even usable… It would be cool to see cars being categorized better, the other that concerns is there has to be more events too…
I'd argue with you that "Cars doesn't always have to be fast", had the game had the same massive map and the lifestyle aspect that their old game, TDU 2 had. But alas, that's not the case. Cruising doesn't seem to be as fun due to the small map. Since they seem to have focused more on the racing aspect, it is natural to expect that all cars should perform competitively. Or at least categorized in a way that they can still be used competitively.
Let me say somethings you guys need to know. For November we will get 3 things: A new map "Maui" a Made in Japan 2 "Playlist" and a new PVE "Game mode" aparently. People think it's a payable Playlist because it says "premium experience" but because it says premium it doesn't mean that we need to pay. What we need with this it's first a bug fix, then a restructuring of many things like summits and the Main Stage and finally a PVP playlist mode. And yes we need more cars but it can't be the main thing you guys ask for the devs, also ut requieres time, licences and more things si you can't expect that if you want something today they will bring it very soon.
A re structuring would definitely help the game tremendously but let’s hope they actually end up doing that… It would have to be done around this year pretty quick to keep the game alive and have a stronger player base, I do think that does need to be done before they add more cars to be honest
It will be enough to drive around in oahu and in maui, I'm also expecting a playlist called "Hawai Scenic route Vol.2" , that is taking place in the new island of Maui offcorse, with a reward beeing ford bronco raptor😊
Instead of Hawaii they should have done Europe, then you could drive for days. Have different summits in different countrys and so on. Feels like they are a bit limited when using a island
@@PTracer921 not mentioned but the passenger side driving in Europe would be hella crazy because we never drive in the passenger side in no crew games. It seems that our minds are completely stuck in USA driving laws of nostalgia 😧.
I know other creators make their living based on how popular the game is and they want to hype people up for engagement but this kinda honesty is important because the decs need to understand ahead of time the pvp is more important.

Well Remember there's 3 Big Islands in the Game, So I would love to visit them all, by Via Boat/Plane & some How by a very long Bridge, so then I can Drive there.

Everything you said is what am thinking it’s all well and good adding the island but if it doesn’t add enough gameplay aspects it’s gonna be boring real quick (in my case it will anyway) but it be all cool and exciting at first but after a week or two people will want more for sure the playlists feature needs dropping we need events much more often if say for example that’s the only playlist it’s gonna be so lifeless the island 🏝️
Definitely!! This is a big concern of mine as well, like imagine if they only add 1 playlist 💀 People will end up being bored around the second week as you mentioned, hopefully they add more stuff with it instead next year..
The new map will definitely get boring after awhile. They need to add better pvp or even have a pve/pvp system kinda like the crew 1 with the cop chases. I think it would be a good opportunity to do something like that with the next season. But idk how many people enjoyed that in the crew 1 but I always liked it. But PvP is going to be one of the major things that could help this game. Cars is definitely cool but I want to race those cars against other people. I don’t want to load in 5 different races to get a street car class to race against.

I wanted to love Motorfest. I played regularly for months. But it got stale. And the FOMO aspect killed it for me. I missed out on a car because I was (no joke) in Hawaii for a vacation. I just didn’t have time to do that week’s challenges. It was the first car I missed and almost instantly I lost my desire to play. As a collector it created a hole in my collection and I was effectively punished for not playing…I’m not down with that. Then add to it that the challenges and grand races were repetitive and it became clear my time was done. There was nothing more to see. Oh…and the upgrade system is obnoxious. I just want to upgrade my cars at will. Redoing races over and over hoping to roll the best parts is tedious. And I think that’s the best word for this game…tedious. I’d rather give Solar Crown my time before diving back into Motorfest
@@mrnrfan182 Yeah that’s completely understandable, it is annoying if you’re not able to jump on that week for the summit if the car for the reward is something you really want!! There’s unfortunately not much to do in the “End game” part which I think does making it boring, and getting maxed parts for each class is definitely a pain 😭 Classes took me an average of 6+ hours for a Chemist set… I’m also really excited for Solar Crown though
im just hoping for quality of life fixes. my game still crashes on ps5. Matte colored wheels(not everyone wants shiny) ability to increase/decrease ride height custom license plates/and if youre worried about vulgar stuff, gives us a 100 preset plates to pick from ability to create our own "favorites" playlist to save our favorite races pvp events ability to see what gold set is installed on the car instead of clicking thru all the cars looking for a certain set. endurance races. better summit awards separate street tier 1 parts from steet tier 2. this never made sense to me. Grand Races that requires a specific car that everyone has to have to enter. Fair race. i'm sure i can think of a lot more.
Honestly if the crew 2 upgrade to Motorfest graphics and map details then San Francisco, los Angeles, Miami, Las Vegas, Detroit, and New York would've been the best immersive cities to dive in to. Norfolk just doesn't meet player's expectations of the joyful view to sightsee as an immersive city. Monument Rocks, military base, shoreline Fair, and Chicago Airport are broken locations on a reused map. I think map area names in the crew 2 are a waste of resources that shouldn't be remembered. Like damn at least Motorfest doesn't overdo the locations that's not relevant to gameplay. The crew 2 content is okay BUT the USA downgraded locations deserve the hate.
Honestly the first map was at release to small and the campaign there was is just way to limited therefore the expantion is way to small. There should have been a map 3 times the size with three big cities than the size of the first map... And next to no races where you don't have a free vehicle selection wich is where the it's simply kills the game. But the time inbetween now and the release is simply way to long, and so there is a big chance the map comes in to late. And if they would delay the map expantion it is going to kill moterfest knowing moterfest is at a way worse position compared to horizon 4 and 5 combined and both nearly died or have died because of the choices of playground games...
You’re on point, I was also thinking this as well with how far away the map expansion is… It will be a cool addition but will most likely not last very long for most players unless there’s tons of things to do, I saw that only 1 or 2 playlists is being added?! That will probably end putting the game rest unless it’s some type of overhaul 🤔
@@Blockedinsight if it's just 2 and no normal races then the game is as good as dead... then ivory tower might aswel add nothing and start on a mainline crew game right now and actually learn from the mistakes from closing off the first crew and the total failure off moterfest... otherwise they might end up being disbanded or have multiple developers(not management wich failed the developers) fired..

@@Blockedinsight but if that's true i think there is going to be some distrust knowing that moterfest was a $60+ game with not even a fraction of the content in the crew 2 at it's release and no ideas that were actually fun were in moterfest wich could have easily helped it like the stories you can play with honestly..

It won't be enough. They can expand the map all they want, but if they don't add new PvP or PvE gamemodes, all that map expansion will be wasted.
