They keep nerfing sniper shot because it continues to be an obnoxious ability in rbgs. It's been garbage in arena for a while, but that's not the only place it was being a menace.
I'm not even playing hunter this season (on any spec), and even I have to chuckle at them nerfing the one trick pony's one trick. I never understand how we have AWC cups, and then classes that had no real meaningful impact get their "thing" nerfed while the most dominate classes continue to be absolutely broken in comparison. Good thing they are addressing these totally cracked immortal hunters. Now, there might be true balance returned to this broken game. Also, glad hunters will pretty much always be in grip/charge range since I'm running DK warrior this season buahahahah. Silly devs...
@@Flyt824 in arena 50/50 but not in BGs or WPvP. The CC and Chaos Bolt rotation chain is insane from Destrulocks. But MM hunters dmg is fine even without snipershot, hunters aimed shot, rapid fire, gleves and explo shot deal enough dmg.

I'm running dk/war this season, and the only threat a hunter had to either was to open at range and punish me for pursuit forcing me to line till an opportunity to close them presented itself now they will always be in grip/charge range I will be virtually unkitable for them since with all the mobility and gap closers we've been given in the game I can ignore most of their traps by spinning them or reflecting them etc...I honestly feel bad for them. I'm not sure which dev is this terrible at the game they felt this was the great balance bringer, but you can always reroll Murder Bird they clearly enjoyed watching them dominate the AWC. 💪😈🤙
with the mastery of this season + snipershot being affected by it hunters where shooting you fron 55-60 yards, fucking annoying as a caster to even try going huntards on huge maps.
Sniper shot wasnt even worth taking anymore already they need to start just removing these talents. Resto druids dmg is going to be insane wrath already hits for 100k and is spameable instant in tree form. Its good they buffed subs sustained finally. I dont think it will be enough to notice anything though
Arena this is true but for those of us enjoying BGs it’s massively OP and every mm hunter runs it. Brain dead doing 80% of someone’s HP from across the entire map with no LoS

I get nerfing MM dmg in pvp and Sniper Shot in general, but to nerf the range along with the dmg seems too much without addresses their core need, DEFENSIVES! FFS, at least make Bursting Shot AoE and unavoidable unless using a specific anti-knockback ability.

Guys, Assassination rogue is absolutely busted. Before that, Outlaw was absolutely busted. Before that, Sub rogue could 100 to 0 people in a Shadowy Duel. Stop crying.
I swear to God they should buff survival hunter, enhancement and sub rogues base dmg a bit. These specs are horrible in arena.. Or they should nerf all other classes, WoW is a bursty game and also the gameplay is much too fast. Sometimes a few classes burst someone down immediately or even do insane big dps the whole round/game. Just take a look at balance druid, warlocks, devoker, MM/BM hunters, assa rogue, paladin, fire mage, DH and feral these classes do disgusting high damage and have fine DPS and dont forget about CCs or am I wrong?

I agree with them reducing damage but making us range like everyone else 40 yards and have the same survivability as everyone else. Then I have no problem with them reducing our damage. Until that happens, you have no right to say that we have a lot of damage before you know where we are in terms of damage.

The problem isn’t affs damage, it’s the reliance on a single spell school, and the INSANE amount of micro cc, along with all of afflictions GOOD damage or cc being tied to 1.5 second cast times (rapture, shadow fury, drain soul/life, soul rot, fear). All of afflictions instant spells are weak af. Try playing aff into a lobby with a fist weaver/uh/dh/warrior/surv/rogue who are all sitting you. 3, 8-12 second interrupts 4 different sub 1 minute cd stuns 3, 5 second Magic immunity, or fear immunity all on sub 1.5m cd’s 50000 grips 50000 gap closers 50000 slows/roots Now try and stay alive on lordaeron arena in a solo shuffle game with that. Or pretty much any map that doesn’t have a z axis u can manipulate
the point of lock is massive damage at the cost of being a primary kill target. ofc they get trained because leaving them alone is not an option. if you dont like that playstyle there are 38 other specs in the game to play.

Most changes in the right direction. UHDK still does entirely too much dmg, but otherwise this is mostly fine.
