Hiding food in toilet paper tubes or under a blanket is also a fantastic idea! We’ll try that to give Kapi some extra enrichment during mealtime. Your support and advice are greatly appreciated! 🐾

Within our family, he gets plenty of attention, care, and interaction-we play together, come up with fun activities, and even create entertaining videos for him. 😊 Additionally, we’re planning to find a friend-a male or female meerkat-for Kapi in the future to make his life even more enjoyable. We hope this will bring him even more happiness!
🐾 Meerkats can be trained to use a litter box, but it usually takes a lot of time, patience, and at the beginning, a few litter boxes in the room. Kapi uses the litter box! For big business, he always goes to the same spot, but for small business, he sometimes misses. For example, a meerkat might 'miss' or just not want to walk to the other side of the room to the litter box, thinking there might be danger there.

I think a tunnel would be cool! Or you could try making Kapi work for there food by hiding it, say in a toilet paper tube or under a blanket.
