The Ibanez As93 is the superstar of guitars. Very well built, reliable, and those Super 58 pickups are delicious. You don't have to dress the tone up with overdrive and effects. It's a phenomenal value. I'll take it any day over most 3k guitars.
I recently bought one(Zebra Wood) and always gone to it since even though there are Gibsons and Fenders in my collection too. I also have the Epiphone Dot but this thing blows it out of the water, love it!

Beautiful instrument, thanks for sharing! I also have mostly been a sold-body electric player. I just ordered an Ibanez semi-hollow Artstar, as I fell in love with the sound and feel of these instruments. Hats off to Ibanez for making quality-built and aesthetically lovely instruments that don't cost the price of a house. Cheers! 🙂

Nice video ! How was the fret work? Any edgy bites? I’m thinking about getting this guitar but because I’m lefthanded I never get a chance to try the real instrument first and am always afraid to get fret bites and buzzing which I hate… also is the back of the neck with a gloss finish? Obrigada :)

This particular instrument setup is top notch, the intonation spot on and the pickups have a great tone! Warm, fat and full... Hi Daglasan, Thanks a lot for Your Comment :) The AR420 is a great electric guitar for sure, both the AS93 and the AR420 have 2 Super 58 humbuckers which are amazing warm, fat sounding pickups :) The AS93 as the hollow body characteristic to it and maybe less weight... but you have more tone options with the AR420 with the 2 Mini switches for Tri-Sound, humbucker - single coil - humbucker parallel circuit, if that is what you are looking for. Both are great sounding guitars and amazing overall construction and i am very happy with the AS93 VLS Hollow body ✨🎸 Have Fun

Agree it's one of those semihollow that has little if nothing to envy to an ES-335..
