Porsche PCM 2.1 Intermittent sound issue in my 997, got that sorted finally

after trouble shooting a bunch of things to figure out why the stereo would play some times and not at others I replaced, both the PCM unit and the amp with salvage ones. wow sounds different and now it works all the time!

Hi MrKaiKai, thanks for posting this video. I have exactly the same problem, I just need to source a replacement amplifier. I still have the original PCM, and glad I didn’t replace it based on the information you provided in this video. Cheers.

LOL, I know I am not smart. Do you have the same issue with your car with stereo working for and not working? In short I replaced AMP and head unit for similar units from salvage car. Good luck.
