This was a fantastic video of John Waxwell delivered by you Evan. There were a number things he said, about being an example of you own success to be of service value to others. John said about since 17 he reads, writes, asks questions, notes even on sick days, Sundays, Christmas days, birthdays that's how he's written more than 70 books so far . John also spoke about you see as the person you are. If you want to see a better life you have to be a better person but you have it all within you he says. It's whether you do nothing about your time or take action on your dreams because one way or the other time is always moving. So many gems but particularly the last 10 minutes he was on fire of key ideas. He also said mindset is important but not everything. This was amazing! These are the two main concepts that I loved the most! The first one was about focusing on a growth mindset vs a goal mindset. I will have my main goals in my mind but my day-to-day focus will be on growing. The second concept was, you have to utilize the light that you have to get to where you want to get to. Driving in the dark with your headlights and only seeing a small distance ahead of you is the analogy he used. I also loved when he mentioned that you have to be comfortable traveling even if you don't know every step of the way.
Wauw!! Tough to Pick out just one good thing here... I’m listening While I work out and I litterally had to stop several times to write things down because of inspiration... I wrote a text message to my biggest customer about how I wanted to make an impact for them, wrote down the goal of becoming number one Pick in the evening when my youngest son is going to sleep - he always wants my wife to do that (probably not making sense What I’m writing here)... I’ve decided to get a Big picture of a man with an axe cutting down a giant tree - as Maxwell Said - just hit it 5 times a day and eventually it Will Fall down... inspiring...also giving 10 reasons to why it’s your dream... I’ve just won the Morning - make a great day everyone!!

My take away is that Leadership starts with me, and the level of those around me that I influence is determined by my own level of leadership. If I am a 6 then everyone under my enfluence will be a 5. You have to give up to go up.
As a pastor and leader of God, you do not hide who you are or keep it to yourself. You will be shamed upon by Jesus himself if you cannot share the word of the lord. I guess when I heard his fourth reason of leadership made me question why he was hiding that?
