Few things keep in mind - 1) B.Ed gives you extra points to be a teacher in future, & it's a very nice job to opt. 2) MSC in iit mostly people get advantage of FOREIGN PHD, others, placement in coaching institute, Don't worry about 24 year age, everyone has different path, different circumstances, different weaks & strengths. You are not in competition with your fellow batchmates/friends. All the best for your future endeavours ❤️
From my site what I experience for MSc chemistry top IITs like IIT Delhi, Kanpur,Madras,Bombay etc is best or else top Central Universities like BHU, HCU, Pondicherry, DU, and JNU

Most students aren't from top colleges... It's student's dedication & hardwork, irrespective of college. Generally very good colleges contain very good students, so a correlation can be noticed, but it's on students always.

Keep patience. Analyse both fields critically. Write in notebook pros & cons of each field. Decide then. There are many jobs in chemistry field, but you have to work hard and obviously without that you can't survive in any field in this compititive era

1. Thereis no course of dual degree. You've to enroll in MSc separately. 2. If you're average to good student, then professor under whom you'll do projects, you can join the lan with no much difficulty. 85% marks it was last time for iitd students to do phd in iitd after MSc. This is an official figure but things are not that much difficult, its on professor, if he/she want to keep you, its very easy

In age of 24 preparing for iit jam is worth it now. I completed my bachelor's degree in chemistry+bed
