painting with Himi/Miya Gouache | The Starry Night (timelapse) // Vannesa Lu

Hey guys! I'm back with another painting video and this time, I attempted to paint one of the famous paintings of Van Gogh, The Starry Night.
This might be the hardest painting I've done. It took me 2 days to paint this mainly because I felt discouraged during the first day. So I did some research and I learned that Van Gogh's technique in this painting is using short paint strokes and that these strokes follows the shapes of the elements; which I did later on. I did a lot of layering trying to achieve that certain shade, texture, color, and shape and I must say I like how it turned out at the end.

Wow! I've also attempted to paint starry night using acrylics but didn't finish it because it was awful 😂 but yours is so beautiful, and btw i have the same gouache and same color as well. Hope we can support each other, new friend. Love your work sm! 😍😍😍
