Haha wtf is wrong with you
Jaylen is still young. He's just 23 years old and the best thing about him is he wants to get better. I can easily see him being a multiple time all star and winning a few all nba teams in his career.
I think in the next few years Tatum and brown will be a great duo and might win a championship together
I feel like Boston will manage to have a fairy tale year for just one year resulting in one championship
@@henry7486 this year gonna be the year
@@everybodyeatsb1103 damn yeah maybe
@@JWatt-gb3di This looking really possible right now.
By far the most insightful basketball videos on UA-cam. 👍
luv u bro
resubscrining rn
"These are merely flashes now" That's editing done right
If Celtics didnt have 2 other all stars on the team, he would have been an all star. He’s an all star level player already because he’s a legit 2 way player
Agree!! Jaylen is going to prove so many people wrong!! I’m so happy I will get to witness it!
Always bringing the goods. Best basketball channel on UA-cam, quarantine or no quarantine
🙏
@@ThinkingBasketball can u make more videos
He's gonna be Pippen to Tatum's Jordan 😉 half kidding but I really like this duo of wings. Could be one of the tops in the league one day both offensively and defensively.
Ryan Montague more jimmy butler than Pippen but you’re right they’re good
@@camdencapps6894 could end up more on Pippen's level of defense though if he keeps improving
@@camdencapps6894 I wasn't really comparing Brown to Pippen really, Pippen is much more athletic and stronger but I think Brown can become a better shooter than Pippen
@@mrbucky226 I honestly think Brown is a better player than Tatum. Tatum just shots the ball more shooting 3-4% less than Brown
Im ILLmatic brown is underrated but I wouldn’t say he’s better than Tatum. Tatum is a better shot created and generates a lot of their shots. He’s more fit to be a first option
Love all your videos man! Such an intelligent discussion of both the offensive and defensive impact of a player!
Thank you Ben. I love your stuff. You're finally back.
Thank god that you're back, missed your videos man.
I have to say it again, this is truly the most underrated channel in UA-cam!

OMG I needed this so much. Thank you
great videos man. Keep up the great work. Also great that you do work to help people with info on the Corona Virus
Jaylen moves so smoothly
Too many content creators rush through the editing process and end up with tons of unnecessary footage. But you clearly take a lot of time to find perfect clips that match the script. Keep up the good work👍
awesome video! i've been hoping for you to cover Jaylen Brown since I found your channel.
Been waiting for this🔥🔥🔥
Jaylen is going to prove so many people wrong!! I’m so happy I will get to witness it!
This is the content we need
This is the only channel where I instantly like the videos because I know the videos will be good without even watching a second of it
Love this video Ben. 👌🏻
I'm not sure if there's enough footage for him, but I think a video on Matisse Thybulle would be super interesting.
I hit him briefly in a 5 Thoughts earlier. Not sure there's enough for more now...
Thinking Basketball Have you thought about doing players from older eras? Would be really interesting to see footage/analysis about overlooked or misunderstood players from the past. Thanks for the great content!
@@Brazbrah he did some on backpicks.com
Thinking Basketball back burner then I’ve never seen a Thybulle before
My new favorite basketball channel.
Now you need to do a Jaylen Brown video for 2021. He's actually taken ANOTHER leap
This video lowkey has sparked an inspiration of jaylen’s game into my life. Hope I can take some notes and use some of his moves in my arsenal for my senior year.
Very fair analysis, good vid
Welcome back!
Amazing , I believe all players should watch your analysis to improve 💪
If him and Tatum stay on the same team they’re going to be such a fun wing combo to watch
Oh thank god, you are finally back.
Just subbed recently glad I did!! Amazing Content! People should be wise not to sleep on the celtics
Love this vid! Love Jaylen Brown too, he's got that growth mindset necessary for anyone striving for success and if he gets a clean bill of health throughout his career, he'll do great things. Brad Stevens and Ainge knew what he was all about in UC Berkeley
I love this video, I love this channel, I love basketball
I like these one man analysis !
The 🐐 is back!!
Really couldn't ask for any more. You've considered Jaylen Brown.
My takeaway: Jaylen Brown should’ve been a running back
He wouldn't make it 3 games
Nah, he ran against a top running back on video and got smoked, nevermind his height.
No way. His height would make him very vulnerable to getting the ball knocked out, and make it difficult for him to squeeze through tight holes.
@@bpdmf2798 actually that was bis cousin aj bouye who is a top cornerback in the nfl. And who defends the outside receiver to which you need great speed(low 4.3-4.4 40 time). And in the second race aj won by a 10th of a second. I put jaylen at a sub 4.5(4.45 to 4.50) to 4.6 which is about the speed of maybe 85% of wide recivers today excluding your unicorns who run 4.3s or lower
@@macattack8658 Yeah that was it. His cousin really didn't look like he was trying nearly as hard as him in that too. He would be average speed at wr without pads but might suffer more than usual with pads seeing his training doesn't incorporate them. He could probably be an average oversized wr but I'm glad he's dunking on fools in the NBA.
great vid as always, please make a video like this about jimmy butler
I love Jaylen, I always feel like he's always lost in the Tatum sauce- thanks for shining some light!
He is as good as Tatum. Tatum is just younger so he has better potential.
This video needs to be remade for 2021
A very good assessment
banger as usual
looking forward to watching a decade+ of the Jays
Insane video
Great video! I think you should do a video on Jordan in his third year or so, evaluating him like this. Maybe other greats, too.
I appreciate the insight on situational passing-- what he is capable of doing and what is the limit of his vision. Perhaps his energy is so scoring-focused that it leaves out capacity to see passing lanes or foresee how a play will develop. I am reminded of a Jarrett Jack-type on those pre-championship Warriors teams, a scoring guard that has limited passing vision, whereas Shaun Livingston would eventually fill that role on the Warriors better.
Good stuff. And I'd love a video about Christian Wood, i think he has a lot of tools that you could break down
the ability of film & analytics combination bring a great perspective to basketball that’s in needed & i do believe jaylen brown is an all star level player
Celtics fan here, and I'm happy with this assessment. He fits so well with the team right now. Playing next to Hayward, Tatum, Kemba, and Smart he doesn't really need to be a finished product yet. My hope is that his game grows as Kemba and Hayward age, and by the time they're declining Jaylen can take up some of that slack. Assuming he and Jayson stay together and Tatum continues on his superstar trajectory a more refined version of what Jaylen is now would be pretty ideal.
Would be cool to see another Tatum video considering the crazy growth in his play since the last video on him
YYYEEEAAAAAA. Making quarantine better one month at a time. I really wish you droppedc more but you can't rush art.
Who'd ever want to dislike this channel's videos?
If there is one guy who needs to make a GOAT video, it's you
Today is a truly blessed day!!!
Great content 🥰🥰
Finally a Jaylen Brown vid
I totally agree when you said it takes him 'mental energy' to plan the kickout when he's more focused on newly learned dribbling moves. Once he masters those, he will show better court vision I'm sure. On the fouling trouble, I think he is still learning to play with brain rather than athleticism, the way he did all the way throughout college and the first 1.5 years in Boston. Once he figured that out, the game will slow down for him. And that's when he becomes lethal on both ends.
Lol facts cause rookie jaylen wanted to posterize everyting his first year
Every video bangs. EVERY. VIDEO.
jaylen is great bro been saying that since his highschool career
Your point about his lack of speed on cuts caused me to realize that 2k on uses lateral quickness as a defensive stat when it should effect a lot of movement animations.
Great overall analysis. His ability to draw fouls when attacking the hoop will never be high but he has certainly put it together to make him a threat. But I too am tantalized with everything else he can put together with his defense (one of his best traits) along with off ball movement and passing. For the price of the extension he signed he is valuable for any team looking to add a third piece who can play among ball dominant offensive players but also run offense themselves when playing amongst the 2nd unit.
Perfection
Since this video JB has made a massive jump forward offensively and still playing good defense. Definitely on All Star pace so far this season.
Jaylen Brown is going to take another step for us
Please make an updated video on brown 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
Omg I prayed that he is gonna do jaylen brown
Best bball UA-camr by far
7uice! He's my favorite player even though Marcus Smart is my favorite to watch on defense.
His handle has improved so much, used to cringe when he would drive
Like before watching. Your'e awesome
If there's ever a video of Ben's I don't like, I'll unsubscribe.
I missed these
Man I miss hoops. 🔥
This channel is a hit or miss. Stat geek central lol max kellerman would be proud
That Siakam part was some nice foreshadowing
He’s avg 20 being a 3rd or 4th option on a playoff powerhouse
I don't know what kind of stats you looked. But despite some blocked attempts to the rim he is a great finisher. Other then that, great video
Finally!!
Good stuff. Would love an analysis of Jayson Tatum aswell
I see a “Thinking basketball” vid, I click
Please do more of these with younger breakout candidates like Collin Sexton, Christian Wood etc. I love ur videos and I kinda want to destroy my fantasy league next year with sleepers
would really be interested to hear your thoughts on him today. been very impressive to me where he's at compared to where he was when he came into the league. also seems to be a bit more impactful though in a lineup w 4 other very impactful players, how does he stack up amongst other players in the league
Tatum and Brown gonna win multiple rings this decade. They could end up being a better duo than Kawhi/PG. Shown huge growth since losing to Lebron in the 2018 ECF. Hope they stick around.
Finally!
This man is a treasure
He reminds me of a 2012/2013 PG , has the athleticism, is long and it a very good defender with an offensive game that has developed nicely so he is able to produce from all over the court but is not top tier at anything since there are still some rough edges in his offensive game. (Court vision, handles , finishing)
Thank the basketball gods for analytics.
We need more of these vids lol. I think some other good players for these type of videos would be domontas sabonis, buddy hiked or Jamal Murray
Jamal Murray owes to Jokic. Without him he wouldn’t look that good.
I think it would be intriguing to do a Jaxson Hayes video and maybe the ceiling of some 6th men type players like J hart, Marcus smart, Avery Bradley, and Norman Powell.
You are a beacon in dark basketball times
Do a video on Westbrook after the Capella trade.
Brown and Tatum are like the Outkast of the NBA. Similar enough to get along perfectly but different enough to complement each other greatly.
I feel like Ben should make a video about Johnathan Issac.I think he will be a future DPOY candidate if he can stay healthy.
