I so wish I could talk with y'all about where the manga is going, all I can say without spoiling anything is, a LOT of shit will happen when the show comes back. You may love it, you may hate it, but you'll definitely either quit watching or continue on just to see an end to it all. Because oof this series. 😵

Nanaba. That one and Mike have me turning down the sound. To flashback to an instance of her abuse in her final moments...that one stuck with me. It's bad. Real bad.
I had an anime crush on her and I legit almost quit watching the show because I was so mad she was killed so soon and so brutally. 😠😢
This show also did Nanaba dirty, this wasnt in the manga, but the author Isayama thought this scene was very good showing more depth and scars to her character with the abusive father bit.

The opening is basically singing about dedicating your hearts ("Shinzou wo Sasageyo") so the red spots you're seeing are the hearts. We saw the hearts of the characters earlier and then later the hearts of the animals. As for the "beasts" running together over the land, I always saw that as a predator vs prey kind of thing.
Poor Gelgar, the guy just wanted a drink and he didn't even get that much. And poor Nanaba...She went back to a really dark place in her last dying moments there...

Rate Me remember I got spoiled by two things a while back? Annie and Reiner were the only spoilers I got! But it still didn’t prepare me for how it all went down in episode 6. We are done with season 2 btw! And I have to say that episode 11 has to be my favorite episode of this whole show so far!
@@rateme6166 I had a similar experience with season 2 because it came 4 years after the first one, and I had a hard time trying to recognize some characters, so while the story was developing I was trying to remember who was who and what they did last season.

This show definitely has a Lost vibe with all of it's mysteries. The main difference is that Lost just makes up whatever feels cool with no intention of ever answering those mysteries, AoT actually plans them all out and when the answers finally come they are not only satisfactory but all make sense. Wait till you reach the basement, answers pretty much 80% of the main mysteries and CONTINUES to be mysterious as hell. Masterful writing.
