- Hello, I am Thư @thunhaaz GKS scholar 2022 from Vietnam.
This is a second video I would love to share with all the candidates who are applying for GKS scholarship.
It's been a hard time for you guys to be well-prepared for your application. However, I hope I could at least share to all of you my experience of applying for GKS scholarship.
If you have any questions, do not forget to leave comments below. I will try to help you out of the trouble as much as I could for your scholarship path in Korea.

Thanku thanku thanku so muchhhhh...your story is so much similar to mee...other than the denmark abroad study experience. I am an undergraduate applicant and i have to submit my application in just a week and i am still reading and editing my essays. i was so worried but listening to you made me at ease. I literally just shuffled my whole personal statment after watching your half video as i got the idea in between by your advices....Thanks a lot. actually it depends on your strategy so if you think it's okay and should be mentioned somehow then yes it's okay. If it doesn't support anything then maybe not

I am sorry to say it’s impossible to allot language and literature field through Uni track, you must apply through Embassy track then

Hi em. Không biết em có thông tin về học bổng cho MBA không em? Chị điểm GPA tại đại học không cao, chỉ tự tin mỗi tiếng Anh, nhiều video khác nói là không thể apply khi GPA thấp. Xem video của em thì thấy có vẻ hi vọng hơn, nhưng ngành quản trị kinh doanh có thể nhiều ng đky nên không biết có nên apply không? :)
HBCP Hàn đúng không ạ? nếu GKS-G thì em biết khá nhiều anh/chị có GPA không cao và thậm chí có người vẫn nằm ở mức khá nhưng vẫn pass á chị. Chị cứ thử xem sao ạ, biết đâu lại đậu ạ hihi em chúc chị thành công nhé
Is Graphic Design and Visual Design and Visual Communication Design same?
I want to know because I want to study Graphic Design but most of the Korean universities has only Visual design and visual communication design courses, So please tell me.
I am sorry to say that I think I do not have enough knowledge in these fields to help you with this question since I am not sure about Graphic Design major which is not my major :(

It depends on university ‘s website. I suggest to go throug everything in the website, especially notice or news 😊

hi, can you give me some advice 🥺? I don't have any prizes but my GPS is 97, I tried to balance it with more than 10 online courses and the TOEFL, I have heard that awards are significant, what can I do :( ?
It's significant but it's not requirements. I did not have any awards in my profile but I was selected. Having a lot awards doesn't mean that you will pass so be confident and prove why you should be selected

Chị ơi, essay chị tự viết hay có ai giúp sửa lại không chị, e tự làm mà thấy khó quá ngữ pháp, ý tưởng sai tùm lum không biết làm sao nữa
chị dành thời gian đọc nhiều các bài khác với lên ý tưởng từng ý cho bài của chị dựa trên profile của chị cũng như các câu hỏi mà bên học bổng yêu cầu. Lúc lập ý tưởng và viết cho phù hợp thì hơi khó sẽ phải sửa rất nhiều nhưng sửa dần chị thấy nó ổn hơn nhiều, chị cũng mất khoảng 1 tháng hơn là nhanh cho mấy bài essay của chị gần như chị dành toàn thời gian vào nó luôn

If it could help you somehow. However, it would be nice if the selected evens are not too far ago from the time you apply
hey, i have gap year for 2 years, do you think i still have a chance to pass gks this year? And should i tell the reasons why i gap in the personalt statement or not?
It doesn't affect anything to your application at all. However, it would be nicer if these gap years brang you something or affect your growth somehow and affect to your this scholarship, major, university, life experience,..and mention this into your essay. In this way, you can prove that your gap year is not useless as well

Yes I did around 10 and there is only one related Korea and it was just an online course. Most of them are online courses and there is an offline one and I even didn't mentioned it in my essay. I could say the extracurricular in my application was not my supportive strength at all ^_^

sorry for saying it's impossible. If you have Bachelor then it's impossible for apply GKS-U but GKS-G is okay.

Hello! If I achieve at least TOPIK 3 prior to GKS application, when will I be expected to fly to KR to complete my 6 months of language study before I start my Graduate studies? Thank you in advance!
Yes, If you achieve at least Topik 5 in first 6 month, you can obviously go ahead to your univiersity

Hi, I am Habiba from Pakistan . please help me,😭🥺i want to apply for English language and literature but it falls in the category of humanities in some universities where i want to apply but GKS application form doesn't give the option of humanities.there is only option for social science and liberal art.what will I do?
I am not sure about your choice. However, actually it's still okay for your to choose English language program. Yet, it's a bit low chance to choose for you and make your competition point get low since you study in Korea and study English language :/
Can I get certified true copy at notary?You know for embassy.
I am not clear about this one since it's different from countries maybe you could contact embassy in your country about this one :(

without extra curricular activities, your chance will get lower than others a lot for GKS-U at least

In order to check available majors. I recommend you to have a look on all the file from studyinkorea in GKS section every year to check more details since it may change every year

I have special case for this since I asked for RL from my boss. Because I got RL from my professors before a lot so I didn't ask for more so instead I asked my boss from the job I was working at this time
Online course tell me for certificates please
Coursera or some website have same system but it's just an online course so I suggest not doing too much cerfiticates which is not related to yourself

Yes. If this kind of evens affected you somehow and motivated you to another prospect than it's okay. However, not too negative is better

Can we apply for medicine through gks in English medium?
You can obviously apply Medicine major if available like other majors and better to additionally check guildelines and the major requirments from your chosen university more.

I think it's better to tell what you want to say, no need intro, it gonna waste the space and make your PS longer

Can I just attach my passport as citizenship proof (parents)? Apart from this, no other document will have to be attached?
@@user-mh3ne6rw7m I am not sure that I get what you wanna ask. In case it is related to your citizenship proof then your passport. But if it's related to your parents and you, then it should be birth certificate.

How about medicine can we apply through University track sis???
As I know that, in Korea, doctor or police related major is not available for foreigners to learn. However, there is still some major medicine related which are available. From last year GKS-U, as I know that Handong Global Univeristy added medicine major into GKS-U list major that you can choose (please check again)

I think there is no standard form for it. Just write freestyle
