- Another quick video showing some of the features of the CarBerryROM for 02-03 Subaru USDM WRX and 01-03 JDM STI ecus. Thanks to Carbbiles @ RomRaider.com you now have features of high end Standalone ecus within the reliable factory ecu!

this is the only reason I would ever own a Subaru just to do this up the street back and forth all day🙌🙌
That is why our neighbors hate us
The best car sound i have heared in my entire life your setup is a success ! #ej257
@salisburyavenger Sorry for the slow response.. I adjusted the factory throttle plate stopper set screw thing until I saw 0.74v on the Romraider logger, then reset the ecu using Learning View. The CarBerry ROM is set to defult to "Rotational Idle Mode" when it sees that the Base Throttle Calibration Voltage is greater then or equal to 0.74v. I think I could have adjusted it open more. Also FYI 0.74v means that the throttle plate is kicked ~7% open. Hope this helps!
wow, what did u do to make it sound so awesome?
@aotule In this vid I had stock cams and header. Grimmspeed up pipe and a forced performance 16g in this video. Currently I'm running a equal length 1.5 scroll gt3076r with a tial wastegate
@mrchoppaboy I press the defrost switch and rev it above 2k says on till I press the switch again. It was on the full run I just pushed the clutch in a the end of the run. See my other vids for more antilag!
Great car! How much horsepower?
The idle of the car with the stock cams sounds so different due to the rotational idle. The way it works is the throttle is opened up enough to make to engine rev to almost 4k rpm. The ecu cuts one or more fuel injectors per rotation of the engine the maintain a low rpm idle. This give you lightening fast response and is key to make full use of the anti lag
Lucas Schaar Heheheheh tell me about it but the funny thing is is the antilag going to make me any faster 😱🤔
@UnknownProductions0 It holds about 0psi at idle, but I can make my full 18psi with spark cut launch set at 5k
Why did your rotational idle switch when you activated antilag? I was messing around with the "default" values the other day and couldn't reproduce what yours did. None the less this sounds BA man!
Hi , this ROM you use is it uploaded using the tactrix and romraider software or what cable/software? Also I have seen vipecs apparently can move the dbw throttle on later subbies, are there any ROMS/reflashers that you know that can do this?
nice setup there!
how do you switch to ignition cut...and is there a danger of floating valves or is it only when hard launch
How did you do the throttle kick? Was it a solenoid or some sort? A longer screw? Thanks!
Thinking about doing this to my wrx, but talk more about the tgv delete. is it necessary?
just out of interest did you use the default setting for LC spark cut? or did you change them?
@Lucas Schaar, is rotational idle constantly on even when your defrost switch is off?
what type of exhaust set-up do you have headers, cats e.t.c
best sounding Subaru ive ever heard
Do you need a stand alone ECU for this?
Let me know if im wrong but isnt it bad to street these cars because the anti lag destroys your motor?
Is an equal exhaust manifold fitted?
Which exhaust system where you running here?
I'm sorry for asking - but which ECUs will CarBERRY work with..? I have an '04 Forester XT and my tuner keeps telling me I need a third-party ECU (doubt it!).
Anyway, very nice video, I love everything about it and wow - what a launch!
It should work on all 16 bit Subaru ECUs 02-05 and it can work on 32 bit but requires a mod
In this video the car was only making about 320hp. I was running a FP 16G at the time this was taken.
Lucas Schaar exhaust used please? specific brand upipe, downpipe and catback exhaust?
All custom shit eh I see 😂
On the carberry how do you enable rotational idle?
You have to "kick" the throttle plate to greater than or equal to 0.74v then reset the ecu. You can use the idle adjustment screw on the throttle body to do this. Just log tps voltage and adjust the screw until it's 0.74v or higher.
@@Lucas_Schaar what's the idle speed at 0.74v?
I mean when you reset the ecu it should idle around 1000
@@Lucas_Schaarhow are you resetting the ECU mine seems to stay at 1500 and not change
What’s the reason for rotational idle?
sounds good :D
It has to do with cooling the turbo ;)
Probably would go faster if you went above 4200rpm
It would spin all 4 above 4200

VREM VREM😂😂😂
badd ass
This sounds like watered down Ninja 250 🤔
All that and yet you still can't launch
Such a jealous comment
Hehehehe it’s to assist launching it doesn’t make it any better gtfo here😂
I'm a road racer not a drag racer
