They knew they messed up benching Taylor, It was a bad idea to do that especially him playing lights out against the best Defense in the league then settle for less against a need-able win against the Browns, I get we don’t have a good QB on the roster but you’d be lying if you said We don’t have a better shot with Taylor
Lou. The earliest possible time a new owner can come in is March because the other NFL owners will have to approve and that voting will not happen until the owners meeting in March. I think what can happen is when the new owner does come in perhaps, he can bring in a GM right away and tell Ron that he can focus on the field and then take it from there.
If I was Ron I fire Scott Turner tomorrow start Heinicke next week and have him call his own plays, I still like to see what Heinicke is capable of without Turner calling the plays………
Tbh Taylor fits in Scott’s scheme perfectly and let’s be real Taylor could throw for 500 yards calling his own plays or 100 it doesn’t matter you don’t make huge decisions at quarterback after a 1 game sample size shit look at Taylor we thought he was potentially the guy after the Tampa game same with Mike white and Tyler Huntley
@lcb5107 I think, even though Heinicke owes a lot to Scott Turner, Turner is still a bad OC. I think a better OC will utilize Heinicke's strengths better. Yes, Heinicke knows the system very well but if the system is a bad system, you're going to score less than 20 pts a game regardless of the quarterback. Remember what Fitz said before the Bears game earlier? He said that Scott Turner's offense is a plug and play offense. There is no adjustment for the players' strengths. They need to execute the plays as they're written. This is why he can keep using the players as excuses to continue to produce below average offense for the past three years he has been our OC.
What I like about Taylor is that almost every time he is forced out of the pocket he finds an open receiver and for some reason his passes are more accurate when throws while running. I consider that a gift that he has and Turner never took advantage of that, he can also run if no receivers get open ………….
The identity Ron has given this team is based on him not believing in the roster. He wants to milk the clock simply because he does not trust the defense so the game plan becomes long drives to keep the ball out of the hands of the opponent offense. We run so much, to a fault, because they dont trust the arms of our qb's...our whole identity is based off of scared football.

We need to focus entirely on the offensive line. Pick your all time favorite QB and he would get destroyed by this line. We have a decent amount of control in the trenches on the defensive side of the ball. If we can match it on the offensive side we would improve immensely. At that point we can put a good QB in a situation where we can start bearing fruit on offense. Remember our glory years (HOGS)
@LouieTee, only reason I want to see Howell is because it's something different. We have no other reason to watch the Dallas game other then to support our team. I want to see all our young player.

Louie, you made a lot of good points, especially about the Giants. They don’t have as near much talent as us but guess what they have a better coaching staff then we do. There coach puts his players in good situations he gets the most out of his players that’s why they are going to the playoffs and we’re going the hell home I’m not a fan either of getting rid of coaches and all but yea this staff has to go man. This may have been a low key tank. With this loss, they end up drafting around 14. That puts us in the wheel house to obtain Will Levis. If that happens, I'm good. Send our two "pseudo franchise" constraints walking, obtain a better vet, hire a capable OC for today's football and grow Levis as your franchise. But if you don't fire Scott, I could give a damn who you draft.

When you said that we can bet on bonus football, I knew we were in trouble. You said that you should know better after Giants loss, shame on me. But this is done by so many fans year after year. I say it constantly, what has this team done the past 30 years to earn the fans confidence. lou I think your being a tad pessimistic regarding us trading up for a quarterback yes it is unlikely but one of stroud Richardson or Levis will be available around pick 7-10 we could very well have the 10th or 11th pick after this week because were a shoe in to lose the saints could beat the panthers titans while not extremely likely could beat the jags the browns are very capable of beating the steelers and the jets will probably beat the dolphins so honestly worst case we end up 13 best we get 10th we could be a prime trade up scenario

Coaching has been hurting us for a while but everyone hoped differently. I remember the onside kick Ron’s first year here when we were only down 3 against Tampa in the wildcard game. I believe that was Heinicke’s first start. Tampa gets the ball back, we lose all momentum and the game. Didn’t want to just build your core and then build around them. He wanted to win now. You had a young talented QB in Dwayne Haskins that just needed to be groomed. Ron been needed to go, all these Carolina players suck except Curtis Samuel. Get all these BUM QBs out of here and OC, who all he had to do is get coaching advice from his HOF coaching dad, get rid of this racist DC. They can all kick rocks! The fans in this area deserve better.

Did you guys see Ron Rivera's post game interview he was completely unaware that they could be eliminated. That speaks volumes he needs to be fired if he's unaware that he could be eliminated on week 17 if they lose another teams win that shows a complete lack of awareness on his part he needs to go tired of his old school mentality let's have a 25 play drive and keep the ball for 15 minutes just doesn't work.

The first mistake being made is a assuming there was an easy win on this schedule. I am sure none of the teams Washington played , felt that Washington was better than them. Every team played Washington lights out. So if the Commanders came into any game feeling like it was in the bag, they already had lost. This "should of" talk is nonsense. So like I've been saying for weeks why hasn't Howell been starting? Wentz is a bust and is obviously out but now here we are eliminated from the playoffs heading into the offseason with Sam as a question mark and risking passing on a QB over what? The entire staff, front office and everyone need to be fired. The new owner needs to come in and shit can everyone on day 1 and start over.
