      You can't say that Jarad Isaacman becoming NASA Administrator was successful. I view him as some billionaire selected, it does help that he's been in soace, but he's only been on two missions. Inspiration4 and Polaris Dawn. I don't know how I feel about him running NASA, we'll just have to wait until the next administration to see how it goes.

    nice having another player but they will be more expensive than SpaceX. Because i not FULLY REUSABLY. when SpaceX achive in using starship like falcon 9 they erase all competitors. becuase theyr price will be so low than will be cheaper fly in a rochet than a normal ailiner. because tehy fully reuse it and the manufacturing of that rocket is small no CNC on the tanks. just AUTOMATIZATION of 3D printer for motors. They will win this, and its look like in 2025 they starting it. They got me without money otherwise i was good competitors for them. Also i go on CH4 instead of H2. more easy to manufacture it and more easy to store it in comparation with H2. and refuell in orbit will be like gas station in Europe or USA.

    • @daveken9936
      @daveken9936 16 годин тому

      @Nowhereman10 well, if you think that is space you never listed to neil degrasse tyson, you never listen to anybody who knows where space actually starts. It was a suborbital flight nothing more.statement is technically correct; while the New Shepard rocket does launch high into the atmosphere, it only reaches suborbital flight, meaning it does not achieve orbital velocity and therefore doesn't "go to space" in the traditional sense of staying in orbit around Earth; it simply goes up and then comes back down relatively quickly to the launch site.
      Key points about New Shepard:
      Suborbital flight: New Shepard only reaches a suborbital altitude, meaning it goes high enough to experience weightlessness for a short period but doesn't complete a full orbit around Earth.
      Kármán line: Although it does cross the internationally recognized boundary of space, called the Kármán line (around 100km altitude), this is still considered a suborbital flight.

      @@daveken9936 If you want to get extremely technical, NOBODY, outside of the handful of Apollo astronauts who went to the Moon has ever been to space since the Earth's exosphere extends approximately 2/3rds to 3/4 of the way to the Moon! That means that even geostationary satellites are still inside the Earth's atmosphere!
      The Karman line is almost universally recognized as the demarcation line to space where wings no longer generate lift and jet engines can't bring in enough oxygen for combustion. It's also far up enough that a satellite in orbit can make at least a few orbits with a perigee at 80-100 km before the drag causes it to fall back.

    How much virtue signalling can you fit into one video holy ****. Read the room.
    Diversity doesn't matter when you want to attract the best minds in the world. You want the best minds in the world who don't care about the race of the person next to them. They care about working with the best and brightest. This ad sets Blue's progress back even further. Mind boggling terrible PR.

    The best scenario I can see of new Glenn is a launch a year. That is a slow learning process to reach commercial ready.
    Then to mass produce rockets is not going to happen for Blue this decade.
    It is going to be a long slow road for this team.
