Paul George 76ers rumors were sparked again after a clip from Paul George’s podcast ‘Podcast P’ resurfaced where Paul George praises Joel Embiid and describes the friendship they have developed. A Jimmy Butler trade continues to seem more likely, as Keith Pompey of the Philadelphia Inquirer has reported that Daryl Morey & the 76ers would be willing to offer Jimmy Butler a max contract should he request a trade from the Miami Heat.

We should go after Obi Toppn. He’s the perfect compliment to Embiid. He’s an athletic 4 that plays above the rim, can make 3’s and as a weak side defender he blocks shots. He’s restricted so we may not be able to get him if the Pacers match. He won’t be expensive. But I think we’ll have to over pay him to ensure we acquire him. 17 per would get that done. He’s a player on the rise n he’s young. IMO he’d be a very good role player for us.

PG and Butler doesn't fit well in Philly to give him the supermax extension of sign more money on someone else like a Mikal Bridges
I think Mikal Bridges is a great first move. A good cap value plus draft picks as the Nets have cap problems. Then have enough picks and cap $ to get either PG or Butler!
PG probably fits more than literally any player in the entire league in philly. The issue is age/health. Stylistically, there literally isn't a better option.
