I love weddings in general, so it always melts my heart to see the joy of two people making a union with each other and celebrating with their friends and family. Sorry for your dad 😞🙏, but he certainly would have been glad you made this memory everlasting.
I guess so but Dad passed 14 years ago . Also there aren't to many photos of them together in older age I'm currently restoring old family photos maybe in a future family video I will.
Did you use a specific program to achieve this wonderful work? I just received a huge. Ox of family archives. I have my work cut out for me. Very nice pictures. Blessings
Yes I used 2 programs. The first was software called Photo Glory used to re color and clean up the old photos I scanned on my Epson scanner at 600dpi . The second program was by Topaz labs called Photo Sharpen AI which uses AI technology via online internet connections to try to improve the sharpness of the photos. Both work great!
Think less is more. Not been to a wedding by in years (yeah) they are like theatrical productions,taco trucks, full dinner, too much. Getting married at your close by church and then coming back home to a small intimate reception party. Much nicer.
The big difference today is most people have a ton of money to spend on weddings . Back in the day the big difference was there was less money and therfore there was more emphasis on the ceremony itself and not loads of luxury gifts , decorations, no videographers then or Dj music etc. After all they were just starting out and needed to save money!
I started dating my husband that year. We had just one child. She’s 44 now. Have 3 grandkids. These pictures are wonderful! Brings back so many memories of that time!

Should have showed what they looked like on their 50th, or in later life. This was nice.
