I’ve reviewed scooters from all the leading budget brands - including Turboant, GoTrax, Hiboy, and AnyHill - and none of them can match NIU when it comes to creating vehicle-grade models.
Simple, elegant, and affordable, the NIU KQi2 Pro is destined to become one of the industry’s most-loved budget scooters.
Watch the video to see the performance results from my hands-on tests.

I bought one today, they had them for $449.00, thanks for all your help! I thought I'd start with less dollars, and get to know electric scooters. I see it as a gateway to another one, an off road one, with full suspension eventually. The wider handlebars and 2 year inclusive warranty 'kinda sold me.
how is it 1 month in?
@@slowinta3155 No problems so far and lots of fun, glad I bought it!
I have one and it's perfect.
I bought mine 14 months ago for $450 and have put 400 miles/640 kilometers. The quality is excellent. Range is decent, depending on amount and steepness of hills in the route, I get 12-16 miles on avg. Only complaint it the grips started slipping off 10 months later so I replaced them with custom grips. I highly recommend for short commutes and running local errands.
where you buy the grips send me a link
Will it work for 8km commute one way!?
I cannot wait. I ordered this two days ago, it should come probably in two days. I literally cannot wait anymore.
How'd you like it so far? I'm planning to buy this very soon. But I'm worried about the drum brake (not stopping quickly enough) and the ground clearance. It rains a lot here and with not much ground clearance, I fear going through puddles
@satwikk9896 did you get it, how's the brake
I just got it . First ride. I would like it a little faster but for the price wtf you know I’m happy about it. Imma use it for work daily if it doesn’t get me to work under 30 mins I’m returning it and getting the 300x . I work 4 miles from
Home
@@josephquezada6138I just rode it 3.5 miles away from my home and I got there in under 20 mins .
@@HarshObserverdid it get u to work under 30 mins?
Great review. Thanks so much. Not scooter related, sorry. Just wondering what lights U use for your blue video backdrop!!??
apparently customer support is terrible so that warranty might not do you much good and i’ve heard a lot of these just suddenly stop working, i went with the Pure Air3 Pro instead
Pure are pure rubbish
What happens if you get a puncture are you able to remove the wheels
can someone help me? when i try to fold the scooter no matter how hard i pull up and outward it will not open, how do i fix this?
i got it nvm
I have one and can only recommend it!
$210 off @ Best Buy right now
does it go on hills easily?
Yes
Hi, can this be used with out the app? I don't own a phone.
No.
I live in OR Im 14 do i need any license or a helmet or I’m I even allowed to ride this
I live in Oregon too lmao. No you don’t need a license, but it’s suggested that you wear a helmet just for your own safety
Better than m365 pro?Does it have tubeless tires?
Yes, tubeless. I've had my first puncture in
This sounds so sponsored
Which helmet do you have
It doesn’t got faster than 15mph/24 kph so, I use a skateboard helmet. I started with a Giro bicycle helmet.
I have two of them and would never buy again. Customer support is none existing. You get a problem, you're on your own. Quality wise I'm not impressed, the power button felt broken out of the box on one of the scooters.
I keep getting chased from the police on my Xiaomi scooter pro 3 times they've chased me I'm not stopping for them and handing it over they can bugger off man.
I see all these UA-camrs flying around on them everywhere wtf man. Don't you ever get stopped with dirty coppers trying to steal them off you. I wouldn't mind mine is only 250 watt and sticks to the 15mph limit
In UK?

Yeah I bet my balls he's 100% from the UK
For the love of god, stop putting wires on scooters. Why are they dangling out? What is the point? None of the scooters on the market look good. Segway, Unagi, and Apollo is all I will consider. We want clean looking scooters. We don't want that Steampunk retro look either. Nor the Future Wav look. Those look like those bikes made for people who ride once a year. It's really not that hard to do. You simply hire a designer for 1 day of work. What a disgraceful industry.
who cares? 😂 as long as it does its job
Niu kqi2 pro doesnt even have cables on the outside.
