These don’t handle well at all in choppy water. I have a 2023 GTX 300 LTD. Terrible in choppy water. Stupid fast, yes. But handling is very poor unless the water is glass
Very true. At the time of this video the lake was very very calm and felt great. We tried this same thing on a much smaller lake with more people riding around the area and it was a very different experience.
I've never had an issue with mine in 70 hours of heavy swells. Coming off a gp1800. It tracks a little bit on crests of waves, but super compliant landing jumps and handles great with a decent set of sponsons.
the hull design cuts better than a yamaha in chop. yamaha skids on the water while seadoo will go through it. at least that’s my experience with both the gp1800 and the gtx ltd
