@Meloncolliepoet That is a good point, but on the other hand if a facehugger can use various alien species as hosts a zombie might still be viable, especially if it is a still biologically alive zombie like WWZ opposed to the actually dead TWD type which can only die by destroying the brain, all others still rely on their organs, just like a facehugger.
@@Free_Krazy Okay, yeah, there is that tendency for the term "zombie" to be attached to still biologically living creatures as of late. That's definitely something to keep in mind. Although, honestly, if it's not undead, I don't feel right about applying the term. :) So yes, the "rage zombies" from the 48 series would definitely be viable hosts. Might even make for an even scary xenomorph thinking about it. O_o
Please make a video: What if David used a facehugger on himself (I know he's an android but I'm sure you can make a creative story out of it and canonically androids have this white blood like substance) Also, what if David used facehugger on the Engineer (we've never seen that, only a trilobite, maybe it would result in an improved Deacon, also it would be nice if you made your own theory about how Deacon would grow)
Well, the zombie variant depends on which franchise it comes from. I think a Facehugger would be in serious danger if it infected a zombie from the Return of the Living Dead franchise. Then there's the Resident Evil zombies, affected by a virus. While there is also the Evil Dead Deadites, who are very similar to zombies. Then there's the Last of Us zombies, where the infection comes from a Cordyceps mutation.
Not to mention the Zombies from Dying Light, such as the Volatiles or The creatures from the Mercer Virus and though not a virus, let's also consider the Conduits from Infamous. Many possibilities when it comes to certain,in Davids possible words, biological entities.
Well depending on the resident evil on what will happen 7 and 8 are infected by mold with a main controller. Resident 4 the rown folk are controlled by a parasite worm.
Literally none of what you mentioned would pose a threat, except for the Deadites. But then again they're magic, and that doesn't exist in the Alien franchise.
This is pretty good story telling. Only bad thing is I now want to see this. Maybe we could get a tv series or even an animated series to tackle some of these scenarios that we'll never get in the theater.
i think there was something similar. a person with a specific virus was impregnated and the xeno they birthed had like acidic death touch but was steadily rotting
I'm interested to know how a zombified xenomorph would react to a normal xenomorph or a queen xenomorph. What did attack its own kind? Would it be with the queen? Would it be confused and not know what to do? To follow either the instincts of the virus or its own instincts. Just thinking about this, and I can understand why he's obsessed with constantly studying the xenomorph and it's constant evolution.
The healing factor would destroy the embryo before it could gestate. The Uncanny X-men had a run with Aliens called The Brood and something similar happened but his healing factor killed it before it could grow
Imagine a werewolf instead! The vicious nature in all its glory in a oddly fluffy exterior 😂 I’d imagine the claws would be like scythes. Sharp fangs… incredible speed and strength… but would it be able to pass on its curse… or will it be something more sinister?
SCP-096 would go into a rage state and kill the shy guy due to it basically attacking SCP-096 even though it doesn't look at it's face attacking ot hurting it could enrage SCP-096 too and quickly heal from the acid and the chestburster would struggle to SCP-096's chest due to indestructible skeleton so it'll probably come from its neck or mouth and then SCP-096 would quickly kill it or attack it but neither would win due to the Xenomorph having it's same abilities but the Xenomorph is seemingly copied abilities to the creature they copy off is weaker SCP-096 would most likely kill it

Maybe if it were a freshly infected person who's still not fully turned/dead. Or maybe an infected like the L4D, the Rage infected from the Later movies or WWZ movie.
@@daveb947 If a undead (zombie) wouldn't infect because dead. Anything else wouldn't matter, it would be a human born xenomorph. We don't see diabetic xenomorphs, or xenomorphs with ALS. @chrisnotyou I'm just saying the scenario presented would be a bit more acceptable than a full on zombie. I know the xenos absorb traits from the host and, for lack of a better term, filters out unwanted traits or diseases.
@@daveb947 They absorb traits from the species. Not the host. Human born xenomorphs are just that. Regardless of the health of the host. Any undead would just be treated like an android. @chrisnotyou I remember the toy line had weird hybrids. I cant remember if it was explained as being bred from or genetically spliced, but they had everything from a snake like Xeno to a gorilla one.
Actually what would actually happen is that the offspring will die becuase the host's undead nature, a zombie doesn't produce heat to keep the offspring warm nor does it produce blood to feed said offspring.
Since a zombie can't sedated like the face hugger does to a living victim, more than likely is that once the face hugger started the implantation the zombie would sink it's teeth into the face hugger thus spilling acid all over the zombie and the face hugger. Either way the zombie would be nothing but a puddle of meted goo. That's if the face hugger went after a dead creature.

Such a great series so far. Always love alien hypotheticals but no one seems to do them like how you do them.
I'm pretty sure a zombie would be a non-viable host.
Considering the acid for blood once the zombie bit into it it's lights out for the zombie.
Given that they don't attack already dead bodies, it seems a safe assumption.
@@comar619 I don't think that matters. A zombie couldn't peirce their exoskeleton.

I'm curious what would've happened if it was the fungal version of a zombie. Or maybe a plant based species in general?
It would cause a Xenomorph that can spread the Neomorph spores
