It boggles the mind that you've been doing ASMR for so many years and still don't know the fundamentals of what it is! First, it's about recording on a binaural microphone so that sounds alternate back and forth from left to right audio channels (ears.) Secondly you're WAY too loud, especially whispering. Compared to other "ASMRtists" you're basically whisper-screaming. I'm seeing this on my phone so my screen isn't big enough to see - are you even using a binaural mic? If you are, you're using it incorrectly. There should be a baffle between the left and right mics so the sound is divided between left and right channels. And each Mic should be enclosed to further isolate each channel and cut down on background noise. This is why real ASMR mics are usually mounted inside the ears of a model of a human head. If you want to do this correctly, look at the channels using the 3dio binaural microphones, like ASMR Gibi or ASMR Darling, for example. I'm just stunned that you've been doing this for years and you didn't notice the fact that you're not doing anything that actual ASMR practitioners do. That's just astonishing. Why has no one told you this stuff? Actually, the best example or role model in my opinion is ASMR Psychetruth. Watch her and learn.
calm down, not everyone has like 500$ to blow on a 3dio. Thousands of people watch all of his vids so he must be doing something right, some people like this style. Also it is binaural and anyone with a set of headphones can easily tell. You're comment reads like some copypasta with phrases like "real asmr microphones" and "actual asmr practitioners". ASMR is such a subjective thing.
ASMR is like you suggest. An art. And if all art was the same that would be boring. Each of us get something different from different sounds. Love your work Dalton.

I've listened to many ASMR artists and he is by far my favorite. Each to their own.
